Pretty Pink Posh - Birthday Celebration Blog Hop! Yahooo!

Hellooooooo friends! It's a super fun and exciting day today! Pretty Pink Posh is celebrating their eleventh anniversary and birthday this month! WOOHOOO! I'm so happy for Paulina and her wonderful company for all these successful years in the crafting industry. How lucky are we that she keeps making us these amazing stamps and dies to play with?! Congratulations!! To celebrate their anniversary, of course there's an awesome party-themed new release! Everything you could want for birthdays and other celebrations. There is a huge multi day blog hop to showcase all the new products - and also some prizes too. All the prize information is at the bottom of this post, along with the hop list for today. I'm so happy to be included in the festivities. 

I have two projects to share with you today, featuring new products and getting you in the mood to party, or pawty! (you'll see what I mean)! Everything is available now to shop to your heart's content! 

My first project for today is a Birthday Treat Box with the most adorable pup! This project features the brand new Dog Holder Dies, the new Birthday Holder Add-ons, the new Birthday Dogs and Cats stamp set, and more! I used a fresh color palette of orange and blue (perfect for boys) with a touch of gingham. 

I started by die cutting and assembling the Birthday Treat Box and lining the back with matching gingham paper. I splattered on some white paint. I die cut a white Eyelet Circle and put that on the front of the treat box.

I die cut out the adorable pup using shades of brown cardstock. I used a white gel pen to add small highlights to the pieces. I gave the pup a super cute party hat and a present to hold.  I added a few gems for just a little bit of sparkle. I attached the dog to the front of the treat box using foam tape. I stamped the sentiment using the new Birthday Dogs and Cats stamp set and die cut it with the matching dies. Let's Pawty!!

 

 

 

 

I put some candy into a cello bag and tied it with matching twine and put it into the treat box - it's so festive and fun. Sure to make any party goer smile.

My second project is a perfectly pink and cream party pennant card! I am really into pink right now! I'm loving pink everything! LOL. This card features the brand new Party Flags Dies and the new Stars Stencil and some other favorites from PPP! My finished card is a cream A2 card base, layered with another piece of cream cardstock, stenciled with stars, then those festive flags!

 

 

 

 

I started by stenciling soft yellow stars onto a cream background. I wanted the whole look of this card to be soft. I splattered on some gold paint and set that aside to dry. I die cut out my party flags using pastel cardstocks, and die cut the cupcake out also.

The cupcake icon is part of the flags set! Adorbs. I used the new Scallop Flag Tags to die cut a little gold scalloped edge for my flags - I love how that came out! I used Woodgrain cardstock for the flag sticks....

 

 

 

I have always loved this sentiment.... Let's PARTY! It's the prettiest font, and looks so good in gold!

Pretty in Pink Birthday Card!

Hey friends! How are you? Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day weekend! It was fun that VD was on a Friday and it just so happened to coincide with my husband's day off! We went out for a really nice romantic dinner - and we never do that! It was so delightful! And we went out for a nice coffee afterwards. It's fun to still be made to feel special after 32 Valentine's Days together! Romance is still alive! It's been super cold and rainy here but our front yard is coming alive with tons of daffodils already. Spring will come soon I think! Hope you are doing great!

Today I'm up on The Greetery Blog with a pretty in pink birthday card! I'm sharing my card here today as well. A clean and simple design with pretty spring colors.... Just a few supplies and some cool gold ink... My finished card is a horizontal A2 card base in light pink cardstock.

My card features the All Aglow stencils and dies.... The sentiment is from the Make a Wish stamp set. I used the stencils and lots of ink pads to create the multi colored candles. I die cut out the stenciled panel and then trimmed the candles to fit my horizontal card... I used foam tape strips to mount the candles to the card. I used gold ink to stamp the starbursts behind the candles. The sentiment was stamped in crisp black ink along the bottom.

Concord & 9th - Love Letters!

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I hope you had an awesome week! Do you have fun plans for the weekend? Thank you for all the comments on my Greetery release post! You are all so kind and I appreciate you leaving a note of encouragement. Hope you got some Greetery goodies and that you're looking forward to creating! Are you working on Valentines yet?? I am definitely in Valentine mode!!

Today's card is another L O V E card! It can be a Valentine, or an anniversary card, or a just because card! Pretty, cheerful, fresh colors, gingham (of course) and wonderful new supplies from Concord & 9th! Yeah!

My finished card is a white A2 card base. Layered with watermelon cardstock, gingham, a bit of vellum, and then those big bold letters! My card features the brand new Love Letters Dies and matching enamel shapes, along with the Sweet Sayings Die set.... The concept for these dies/enamel shapes is so cool! You die cut out the letters from one color, and then the background from another color (so many options) and then the matching enamel shapes fit into the dies perfectly! Love this! 

 

Here's a close up of the letters and enamel shapes! SOOOOOOOO fabulous. Those crazy peeps at Concord and 9th are always thinking up something cool! I die cut the LOVE from Pink Lemonade cardstock and layered the letters onto fresh white. I splattered on silvery shimmery ink splatters, then added on all the hearts and leaves.

I used the Sweet Sayings dies and silver glitter cardstock to die cut out the 'you' to add in the center. You know, glitter paper is always a good idea!

The Greetery - Bibliophile Collection - Introduction & Showcase Day!

Hi crafty friends! Hope you're enjoying a beautiful Winter week! We are doing good here - having a bit of a cold snap, like everyone else - and staying warm and cozy in the craft room. It's been a busy month already and another year is in full swing. Our daffodils starting getting their fresh green stalks so that's the first sign that a change will soon be here. Looking forward to longer days, and love in the air for Valentine's Day too!

Today is VERY exciting because it's the reveal/showcase day for the first Greetery release of the year! WOOHOO! The new release is called the Bibliophile Collection! It has stamps, dies, and stencils for the book lover, the romantic, and the vintage lover too! Think hearts, and more book items, and even a cupid's arrow! I adore this new collection and I know you will too! The design team will be sharing all of our projects today, and showing you all the new products. Just one day of features - then the new release will go live TOMORROW at 10am EST! (So you don't have to wait too long -yay for that!)

I have four projects to share today - can't wait to show you! All the prize information, details, and design team links are at the bottom of my post. Lots of pictures for you today, friends!

My first project for today is a pretty, vintage inspired Valentine card made with lots of things from the new release! This card features the brand new Nordic Hearts Dies, the brand new Cupids Arrow Dies and the brand new Love Stories Stamp Set. You'll notice I also used a lot of other Greetery favorites! I love a Valentine color palette of red, pink and cream - with a touch of gold too! My finished card is an A2 cream card base, layered with pink stripes and text paper, and then a cream top layer. I die cut the beautiful new Nordic Heart die from cream and pink. I inked Distress Inks on all the cream parts and generously splattered gold paint too.

I made a pretty postage stamp using the text from the new Love Stories stamp set and some hearts.... The bow and arrow was made using woodgrain cardstock and gold glitter paper. The sentiment was stamped in dark brown ink...so pretty!

My next project is a matching tag and card combo! With all of these beautiful supplies, I thought it might be nice to make a more masculine project. And I'm going to save this one for my hubs for our anniversary! A dark and classy color palette of kraft, white, black and gold. Love it! These projects feature the brand new Bookish Frames - Romance, the brand new Lock and Key Dies, the brand new Love Stories stamps...and more!! The tag of course was made using the versatile Tag Team dies.... The tag and the card are a perfect match.

My finished card is an A2 kraft card base, layered with black stripes, black cardstock and then the kraft top layer. I made the card using the stamps and stencil combo - perfection!! I stamped the black heart vines and then stenciled the white floral parts with white pigment ink. I splashed gold paint on the top and added pretty gold pearls.

 

I added a vellum strip around the top layers for more visual interest. The heart with the sentiment 'love story' is heat embossed in gold onto a vellum heart.

The tag was die cut using kraft cardstock. I stamped the heart, flowers and sentiment in the center of the tag. I added some stamped text around the main sentiment - very vintage!

 

 

 

The new Lock and Key Dies make the perfect tiny accents for the top of my tag!

My next project is another Valentine Card - but this time it's bright and vivid! Red and white! So classic. This card features the brand new Folk Heart stamps and dies... My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with red and gingham and then kraft. A doily is always appropriate on a Valentine card - don't you think?! I stamped the pretty heart shape and the bow and die cut them out with the matching dies. I added the perfect sentiment in red in the center. This card would be a good one to mass produce and it's fairly flat for mailing also.

And, last, but certainly not least, a card for the book lovers! This card features the brand new Shelved Product Suite! You guys are going to love this!! I made a birthday card since I know so many book lovers! I used a warm and boho chic color palette, reminiscent of a bookshop. And I even added some plants. I adore the cute sentiments in this new suite. "Here's to your next chapter" is so clever for a birthday card. My finished card is a cream horizontal A2 card base. I die cut out the books for my stack and then used the stamp set to add accents onto each book. I also gently inked the edges of the books. I made two little plants using previously released Greetery dies. I love this look!! I'm very excited to see what everyone else makes with this product suite - the possibilities are endless.

The cutest (Valentine) Ghosties You Ever Did See!!

Helloooooo! Or should I say BOOOOOOO! I have a little something just for BOO today!! This is another project I made with the brand new PPP Valentine Release for 2025! Paulina made the cutest stamp set - with Ghosties! Valentine Ghosties! Really a fun idea! And so clever. I love them just as much as the original Ghost Friends for Halloween!! My card for today is part of the big Instagram Hop for the new release. So if you're on Instagram, be sure to find my post and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!

My finished card is a clean and simple design with traditional colors of red and white for Valentine's Day. I love the sentiment! It's a white A2 card base, layered with gingham and red, and then a pretty white scalloped panel. I stamped and die cut the ghosties and colored them with Copic Markers and assembled the flying cuties onto the card with foam squares... The sentiments in this stamp set are perfect too! A few little red enamel hearts finish off the look.

Lovely Fresh Lemons for New Years!

Hi friends! This week was my turn to have a project up on the Greetery Blog! Hope you're doing great and having a great week! The first full week of the New Year!! In the new year, it's time to turn to themes other than holidays, and to have fresh eyes on our projects. So I thought - what is the freshest thing? Lemons!! In that tone, I chose to share a card today featuring the lovely Large Lemon stencils and dies. The perfect colorful start to non-holiday crafting!!

 

My finished card is a white A2 card base. I layered a white layer die cut with the A2 Scallops Dies - so pretty! I stenciled two lemons and leaves, using the Large Lemon stencil/die set. One lemon is on the scallop panel, and the other set I cut out the leaves and flowers to create a dimensional look. I stenciled using shades of yellow, green and pink ink pads, and my blender brushes. 

 

For the sentiment, I used the One Fine Day stamps and dies and heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. I die cut out the sentiment and attached it to a vellum circle. I attached the extra leaves and flowers onto the card using small foam circles to make them pop. As a finishing touch I added some light pink gems. I also tied pretty twine around the top of the card. I really love these colors....so bright and happy.

Pretty Pink Posh - Valentine 2025 New Release!

Hi friends! Happy 2025! How was your new year's? I hope you had some fun and gave a toast to a sparkling new year! Man, the time sure does fly nowadays. I can't believe it's 2025 already. Some of my friends and I were talking about the big party we went to on NYE 1999 and how it was a big deal to go forward to a new century...well, here we are! I'm hoping this is a great year for everyone! Happiness, Health, Prosperity, and CREATIVITY!

I'm here today as part of a big blog hop to celebrate the new 2025 Valentine Release from Pretty Pink Posh! It's a favorite release of mine all year - everything is always so fun and cute. And this year is no different! I'm sharing two projects today, and then I'll have another project next week for the Instagram Hop too! Let's get started!

My first project for today is an adorable candy treat box Valentine featuring the brand new Fox Holder dies, the new Valentine Holder additions, and more! I used the (fan favorite) Birthday Treat Box for my treats! Such a fun project - I always like making treat holders/boxes. To make this was very simple - I die cut out all the Fox parts from colored cardstock and assembled her. I added rosy pink cheeks and I drew on some eyelashes. Added a gingham bow for her hair and a gingham heart to hold in her cute paws.... To make the box I used pink cardstock and pink gingham to line the back. I put candies in a cello bag and tied it with twine... A few gems to finish off! I used cream cardstock instead of vivid white.... I can't wait to make some more of these.

My card for today features the brand new Fringe Heart dies and the brand new XOXO Pierced plate... I used shades of pink, kraft and gold for kind of a vintage look. My finished card is an A2 Cream card base, layered with kraft and vellum. The Fringed Heart dies are large, and take up the whole card front - which I love!! I added some pretty ribbon the the top. Finishing touches are gold enamel dots and gold paint splatters too!

You're my jam!

Hey friends! Happy Monday! Today is a very Monday Monday! LOL. The first Monday of the new year. Back to normal, back to routine, back to non holiday things.... I put away the last of the holiday decorations at our house yesterday and now the house seems so....empty! Lucky misses the Christmas tree (he likes to sleep under it) and I miss all the coziness.. But here we are ready to get started on a fresh new year.

My husband went to bed early last night and the crafting inspiration struck me around 11pm....and I made a fun, fresh, colorful card to share with you today - courtesy of new supplies from Concord and 9th! You're my JAM!! Hee hee. This would be a great punny Valentine card, and I love that berry purple.... My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with Berry, then white, then gingham, then more white... Yeah, I like big layers and I cannot lie. The star of the card is that cute little jam jar! I added hearts and flowers and some strawberries to make a happy scene. I used ink pads to shade the jar and the berries. White ink was used to stamp the pattern on the kraft jar topper.... I love the little details so much.

One final Christmas card to share with you today! I made this large slimline card using all supplies from Anna Griffin! It's so lovely and I just adore all those tiny details from the window candles to the snow, to the trees. Hope it makes you smile!! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MERRY MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Cute Snowman Banner just in time for Christmas!

Hi creative and crafty friends! Today is my turn up on The Greetery Blog! And, as usual, I'm posting my project here too! I hope you're doing great and having fun getting ready for the Christmas this week! I love to decorate my home for Christmas and make lots of pretty crafty things to put around... For my project today I created a cheerful and happy snowman banner using the brand new Honeycomb Snowman dies and the Snowflakes #2 dies. This project brought a smile to my face the whole time I was making it, and now it's hanging up in our dining room! Do you enjoy making home decor items too?! This is a Winter themed project, so I'm going to leave it up through January probably. When I decorate the house for the holidays I use all kinds of colors and themes. Then, once Christmas is over, I take down the obviously red/green/Christmas decorations, but I leave the snowmen, snowflakes, and Winter decorations up for the month of January. It just makes the holidays last a little longer during the foggy January days....

 

To make my snowman banner, I started by die cutting out all the pieces to make four snowmen from the new Honeycomb Snowman Die set. I assembled the snowmen and then added those most adorable snow white honeycombs! I die cut out five silver glitter paper snowflakes to put in between the snowmen on my banner. I used a long length of twine - around six feet - and used my hot glue gun to glue the snowflakes and snowmen onto the twine. It was really a fun and easy project and I love how it came out. I used bright colors for their ear muffs.

 

A few of my little finishing touches include - Copic marker shading on the die cut pieces of the snowmen, White gel pen accents, and bits of Diamond Glitter to give them a bit of shine! This would be a great group project or one to do with the kids too. The goal is to have F-U-N!

Concord & 9th Favorite Things Party 2024!

Hello there!! Today's blog post is both festive AND jolly! Today I'm sharing some super cute and colorful Winter cards I made with supplies from Concord & 9th! There is an Instagram Hop today too, so if you're on Instagram, be sure to stop by my page and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize! The theme for today's Instagram Hop is My Favorite Things - from Concord & 9th 2024! There are a bunch of creatives sharing our favorite stamps and dies and colors from 2024... It's going to be a fantastic hop! It always brings a smile to my face to use stamps and dies from Concord and 9th - truly one of my favorite companies!! So grab some cocoa because today's post is chilly!! 

So you know I did THIS POST earlier this year using the Carpe Denim set - the cutest jean jackets you ever did see! Well, today I made a Christmas jean jacket! Hee hee. I am one of those gurlz that loves to wear holiday apparel! I always have a fun Christmas sweater or sweatshirt on during the month of December! So that was the inspo for this card... 

My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with Falala patterned paper and then a white panel to feature my jacket! I die cut a beautiful bright red poinsettia to adorn the back of my jacket... Oceanside and Poppy cardstock are great together!! I added some snowy paint splatters and bits of gold to finish my look. Let's be jolly indeed!! (I actually wish I had a denim jacket like this!) I added a tree and a sweet sentiment banner to finish it off!

I just received the AMAZZZZING Alpine Village Dies in the mail last week and I had to use them today too! EEK!! This finished card is an A2 white card base. The layers are all from the super genius die set. I die cut all the pieces using my fav colors of Concord & 9th cardstocks. I really wanted to create a little Swiss village so I used red, dark green and brown.... That little ski lift makes me giddy!! I added little white snowflakes to their Winter skating sweaters... I used glitter glue for the rooftops and skating pond... Snowy splatters finish it off. The sentiment is just perfect!

The new Airmail Box from Catherine Pooler!

Hello creative and crafty friends! Happy Christmas-time! Are you out and about enjoying the festivities?! My hubs and I have been enjoying all the craft fairs and vintage markets and the local ice rink... This time of year there is so much to do all the time and we love it! I have quite the supply of festive sweaters (collected over 40 years!) and I love to be loud and colorful. Oh, and there's always lots of coffee involved too! I hope you are having a great season so far. I have some holiday projects to share with you later this week... But today, I'm sharing something decidedly not Christmas! Something really fun!

The lovelies at Catherine Pooler have created their newest craft/card box! It's called the Airmail Box and it is AWESOME! I do really love a mail theme (being a card maker of course) and I love airmail items too. The new box is just that - mail theme! Three stamp sets with matching dies, a paper pack, standalone dies, and ink!!! I love it! The kit is available to order today! Yay! I made one card, so far, and at the bottom of this post you'll see a photo I took of the whole kit! CP kits are always the best quality and so wonderfully curated...

My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with the kit included patterned paper, vellum, and a white panel. I inked the top of the panel using the included new ink pad and it's the prettiest shade of blue... That cute biplane, and puffy clouds are so perfect together! The little trail of hearts is too much (in a good way!)

 

 

This plane is so great! I'm picturing masculine cards, and birthday cards, I miss you cards.... You can make it in any color combo! I used silver paper and a pearl for the propeller.

Fun Holiday Projects with Iron Orchid Designs!

Hi friends! Happy Sunday! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and a great long weekend! It's the official kick off to the holiday season and it's December first! Christmas will be here before we know it! We enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful Thanksgiving here at our house and then we got up at 5am to go shopping on Black Friday. We have had a shopping tradition for many many years. I love being out in the hustle and bustle of the mall and the stores - everyone wearing their holiday sweaters and feeling festive! We shopped til we dropped - having fun. Didn't really buy too much, mostly just looking. I feel like the store/mall decorations this year were super amazing!! I love that kind of stuff. It makes me inspired and in the spirit of the season!! 

We had a Christmas miracle happen also... I left my iPhone on a bench at the mall (right by the exit to the parking lot) and didn't realize it for 10-15 minutes. I FREAKED out. We ran to the Apple Store and they turned my phone to lost mode and we were able to track my phone - to still being inside the mall (I thought for sure someone would take it and run)... The Apple store employees were so nice. Since my phone was locked, they sent a message to it which allows the person to call a number.... Well, through divine intervention an honest person had my phone and she called me. Boy did I feel grateful!!!! Whew. 

I have a couple of projects to share today since it's December! I love working with my supplies from Iron Orchid Designs....gorgeous molds and transfers and stamps...They are really wonderful to work with and create beautiful things. I made a home decor piece and some ornaments and I have some more to make also. Here's my home decor piece.... It's hanging in our entry way now.... This started with a plain wood arch piece, which I painted with navy and gold, then a big fabulous transfer, and then more gold paint and a few coats of wax. Annie Sloan Chalk Paints and waxes are the BOMB!!!

 

The piece is painted Navy (I combined two blues for a dark starry night color), and then I painted gold on that inside edge to look like gold leafing... I also splattered gold paint (of course). I used three coats of the blue paint and about five coats of the gold paint on that inside edge. The entire piece is coated in two coats of clear Annie Sloan Wax and then buffed out to a shiny finish. The tree is actually a giant rub on transfer! I cannot even tell you how pretty it is in person.

 

I also made these resin ornaments using my supplies from Iron Orchid Designs supplies also. The shapes were made using resin and then I painted 2-3 coats of deep charcoal chalk paint onto them. I used sweet woodland rub ons and then gold wax as shading. The ties for the ornaments are Tim Holtz velvet ribbon from my stash. These came out soooooo nice. I love them and can't wait to make more!!! I like to use the quick set resin so they set in about 10-15 minutes and then I usually let them sit until the next day before I paint them.

I took some in-process photos with my iphone - so you could get a feel for the projects.... Here I'm starting with my first layer of paint...

And it's almost done! I let it sit overnight and then did the wax! I used two coats of wax and let that sit for a day and a half and then buffed it out. You can see in my final project photo that it has a pretty sheen to it now. LOVED making this!

 

 

 

 

I only took one photo of my ornaments! Ugh. I get caught up in the moment and the fun and forget to take more pictures!!

My first card for today features the brand new Nordic Tree Die set! I combined it with the Warm and Cozy sentiments from the last new release. I created a clean and simple Christmas card with Dr. Suess colors and vibes! My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with soft pink and vellum. I die cut the tree layers (there are three layers to create the tree) from green cardstock and then added white paint splatters and a bit of snow too! I finished it off by adding a pretty gold star and some enamel dot ornaments. The sentiment is heat embossed in white onto kraft cardstock. Classically Christmas! I love the details in the die cut - makes for a gorgeous tree.

My next card for today features the brand new Nordic Birds Dies and the brand new Crystal Charms Dies! Also featured are past favorites Joy and Pine Wisps! My finished card is an A2 kraft card base, layered in Christmas red, then a pretty arch to feature my design elements. I ink blended the top of the arch for a bit of warmth. My color palette is classic red and green for the holidays... I made it a bit rustic by using kraft paper also. I die cut all the pieces and added bits of sparkly glitter for a snowy feeling. My final touch was some red enamel dots.

My third card for today features the brand new Hey Honeycomb Penguin Dies! More cute additions to the Honeycomb product line! And also, just releasing today, white honeycombs! Wait until you see all of these!!! I kept my card cute and sweet! My card base is a white A2 card, layered with some Doodlebug plaid for a subtle background. I die cut a scallop panel and added icy blue ink blending... I used the new Hey Honeycomb Holiday stamp set for my sentiment. These are SOOOO fun to make!!

My final project for today features gift tags I made using the brand new Inside and Out Holiday Tags stamps, dies and stencils! I also used the brand new Ornamental Tags Dies. I love a soft color palette of pink, cream and gold... I do also love pretty pink packages! The stamp/die combo makes 8 tags at once, in a pretty, ornate shape! I stamped and heat embossed the stamp in gold embossing onto cream cardstock. I used the matching stencil to do ombre pink ink blending on the tags. I blended the ink only on the top of my tags... I splattered everything with white ink! I added some gold bows and classy pearls... The twine is natural with a bit of gold in it also.

Sweet Vintage Reindeer Christmas Card!

Hi friends! Popping in this weekend to share a cute and cheerful Christmas card! The new release from Honey Bee Stamps is called Cozy Christmas - and boy is it cozy! And gorgeous! I will be making more cards with this fun new release, but I couldn't wait to share the first one! I do love a vintage reindeer motif - kitschy and adorable.... Well, Honey Bee came out with a die set that makes the MOST adorable little reindeer! I turned him into a card and used classic Christmas colors and a vintage vibe.... Stripes and holly and snowflakes, oh my!

My card for today is an A2 cream cardstock card base. Layered with candy cane stripes and red and more cream. The star of the show is my dapper reindeer in his winter scarf... I added lots of greenery and a few sparkles and snow flurries. It all worked together so nicely. I die cut the background with a subtle snowflakes pattern. Using cream cardstock instead of bright white cardstock softens everything just the right amount here. I used Copic Markers to shade my die cut pieces and also white gel pen accents.... The Greetery - Merry Christmas Gifts!

Hi creative and crafty friends! It's my turn on The Greetery Blog today, and I'm sharing my project here too! Hope you're doing great and enjoying this beautiful Fall season. My birthday is over, and voting day is over. It will be Thanksgiving before we know it...and then Christmas! The rest of the year is going to fly by!!  For my project today I created a classically red and green Christmas Card using the gorgeous Gifts Galore Stencils and Dies... This card is nice and flat for mailing too! I added a bit of sparkle to it, and I used the new Warm and Cozy stamp set for the perfect sentiment. Time to make Christmas cards for sure!

 

My finished card is an A2 white card base. I layered green patterned paper on top of the white card base. To begin the card I used the Gifts Galore Stencils and kept my colors to only red and green. This idea has been in my head for a long time and I really like how it turned out. I used two shades of red and two shades of green for a clean monochromatic look. I die cut the bows and ribbons using the Gifts Galore dies - and used bright gold cardstock.

I trimmed my presents panel down to 4" x 5.25". I glued all the gold pieces onto the gifts and then added a few pearls as embellishments. I heat embossed the pretty sentiment onto vellum using white embossing powder for an elegant look. I wrapped my vellum strip around the presents and affixed that whole panel to the card base. I couldn't resist adding a few snowy white paint splatters too!

My 60th birthday was this past Sunday and I had a wonderful day! My husband spoiled me rotten and I am so super grateful!! On to a new decade as a sassy old lady!

Fun Halloween Felt Pennants and a Birthday Witch!

Hello friends! Happy Halloween Week! I love this week! AND, it's also my birthday week! So I especially love this week! LOL. Saturday night we went to a fun and festive Halloween Festival and I dressed up (photos at the end of my post),  and we had the best time. Sunday we carved pumpkins all day. The house is all decorated and the front yard is REALLY decorated! (My husband goes crazy with the decorations and it's the talk of the neighborhood!)  We are Halloween ready. We have a lot of fun - setting up a table in our driveway and playing spooky music, the fog machine going...passing out candy. And especially chit chatting with the neighbors and seeing the cute costumes.

On Sunday I am turning the big SIXTY! Gosh, it's been bothering me for months. That seems like so many years. I'm not ready to be this age. In my brain I'm still about 25! No other birthday has really bothered me, but this one is. I can't stop thinking about it and obsessing about it. (Nothing I can really do though, right?) My husband has been spoiling me already and I feel loved, and blessed by so many people. I do know that I am lucky to have had so many years. In the comments, leave me your one best piece of advice for graceful aging! Wish me luck!

I have a reallllllllly fun project to share today. Maybe one of my favorite things I've ever made!! It came together exactly how I pictured in my head and I love how the color palette turned out. I made some Halloween Felt Pennants/Banners for decorations for our home! They were easy and fun to make - a cheerful project with minimum supplies...a quiet afternoon in the craft room.... The dies are from Ellen Hutson! Did you know that you can still buy EH stamps and dies on Amazon?? Well, you can! CLICK HERE!

I used the dies from Ellen Hutson (sadly I think the Halloween ones are sold out right now, but the pennant with different sayings is available) and my favorite felt (the only felt I use) in Halloween colors. The other supplies are either from Amazon or Hobby Lobby and I'll talk more about that below. Let's take a look at my finished pennants! EEK! Lots of photos ahead, because I was having too much fun actually. Aren't they the cutest thing??

 

I made two pennants but I could have made tons more - I just ran out of time!! The dies + that felt = delicious! The felt cuts like butter with those dies. Couldn't be nicer. I used orange and black of course, but then popped in some pink and peach. This is my new favorite Halloween combo.

 

 

The banners were kind of "floppy" with just the felt so I die cut a matching piece of cardstock and glued it to the back to make them look nice and finished and to stand out straight. 

Like literally who knew that I would love pink and orange together??? I used ribbons from my stash and mirrored stars as a nice small accent. I tried not to go overboard as you know I like to do....

Here are my pretty felt colors - they are also listed in my supply links! MMMMMMM. Yummy. This felt is 100% wool and it crafts like a dream. And it comes in many many beautiful colors!!

Here are my pieces all laid out before I glued everything down.

 

I used this fabric glue to glue all my pieces together - gave me a nice hold without lumps and bumps and it did dry quickly! I bought the dowels and the little wood balls at Hobby Lobby and used this metallic paint to paint the wood balls that are on top of the dowels. 

 

I used my hot glue gun to attach the dowels to the back of the pennants and to attach the wood balls on the top. I also used hot glue for the stars...

And now for Wanda the Witch - the birthday witch! Here is my costume for the Festival! I had fun doing bright green sparkly eye shadow (hard to see because of my glasses) and a nice spider on my neck! (a temporary tattoo)....and that hat! Mark bought that for me this year!! My spider earrings and my face stickers are from the Spirit Halloween store.

 

 

And here I am at one of the antique stores on the street with the Halloween Festival. You can see I'm getting attacked by a giant spider! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!

Pretty Pink Posh - Holiday 2024 new release - Let it snow!

Hi friends! I'm so excited this week because it finally cooled off and it feels like Fall! This makes me giddy with excitement! The house is cool in the mornings and we can cozy up and have our coffee and watch the leaves fall from the trees across the street. I am renewed!! But, alas, we are also at the same time making all kinds of Christmas projects! Today is a big Instagram Hop to celebrate the new release from Pretty Pink Posh. I used new and old supplies from PPP to create a cheerful winter greeting! My finished card is a white A2 card base covered in pretty green stripes. I layered kraft paper (because I LOVE red, white and kraft together)... That adorable hat I made in traditional colors and added sparkly snowflakes and a tweet little birdie.... Such a happy card!

My card for today features lots of brand new goodies - and a familiar theme from our friends at Pretty Pink Posh - cupcakes - for every occasion! I had SO much fun making this happy confection! My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered in striped paper, white layer, vellum and then my featured cupcake! I used traditional colors and lots of bling bling! I want to take a giant bite of this cupcake for sure! I stenciled some aqua snowflakes on the background and used bits of gold cardstock for accents... I think it screams Christmas! The Greetery - Happy Fall Typewriter!

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! It's my monthly turn on The Greetery Blog today to share a project with you! And I'm sharing here on my blog too! I am always so excited and happy to share more Greetery with you. You already know I love Fall, and today I have another Fall project to share, using a favorite die set.... My card features the gorgeous Vintage Type suite of stamps and dies, and lots of colorful Fall leaves...oh and touches of gold too! I typed out a message just for you!

 

My finished card is a cream A2 card base, layered with kraft cardstock die cut with the Postal Dies. I started by die cutting out the typewriter pieces and all the leaves. The leaves are from the Autumn Curio Die Set. I stamped the sentiment using one of the small phrases in the Fall Foodie Stamp Set. I stamped all the  elements     in brown ink for a softer feeling - instead of black ink. I used Distress Inks to gently ink the edges of all the leaves and then splashed on some gold paint to make it shine.... I also used gold accents on the typewriter. To finish up my card I used foam tape to attach all the elements. I mixed and matched all the leaves until I got a layout that I liked. So warm and inviting! I used a few fall colored gems to complete the look.

The Greetery - Fireside Collection New Release - Day Two!

Welcome back to day two of the new Fireside Collection new release week from The Greetery!! How did you like yesterday's cards? What do you love so far?? SHOP THE NEW RELEASE ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2ND AT 10AM EST!

My first project for today is Santa's mailbox! This project features the brand new Arch Box (Large), Fancy Feet, Post Box Details and North Pole Post! There's a lot of new stuff happening here and I love it ALL! I created a bright red mailbox complete with glittery gold accents and even some snow! I have many memories of the giant red mailbox for Santa at Macy's over the years and that was my inspiration for this project. The box is super easy to assemble and has lots of accent stamps and pieces. You can even make it open from the front instead of the top! I added some pretty holly leaves to complete the look. The red pieces were inked with a darker red Distress Ink to give just a bit of depth. I used white paste for snow... This was really fun to make! And, when you see all the elements, you'll see that it's not just for Christmas!! I can't wait to make more projects!

My next project for today is a postcard that's meant just for Santa!! I used the brand new Dear Santa stamps and the brand new North Pole Post stamps and dies, along with other Greetery postage themed items! I even made a candy cane pen! To make the pen I die cut one white pen and one red pen and hand cut out the stripes and glued them on! I was smiling the entire time making it! Isn't that the most gorgeous font?? And the stamp set has matching leaf design elements... So fun.  I used accents of lime green and aqua to make it nice and bright and cheerful.

My third project for today features the brand new Flourished Phrases Merry stamps, dies and stencils. I combined the new items with the Big Beautiful Bow and the Snowflakes 2, among other pretty Greetery things! I stenciled the Merry phrase onto white cardstock and then die cut it with an oval die. I wanted to try a different layout for this Flourished Phrase... I added a big red bow and some gold snowflakes... A tiny bit of glitter glue and some gems complete the look. The finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with Christmas green gingham...

And....my final project for release week is a pink confection of a card! This card features the brand new Ribbon Frame stencils and dies, the new Rosemary and Berry dies, and the brand new Scripted Holiday Sentiments (GORGEOUS) stamps! My finished card is an A2 cream card base, layered with stripes and vellum for a soft look. I used pink cardstock and dark pink in for my ribbon frame and then accented with green and red foliage. The sentiment was heat embossed with sparkly silver embossing powder. It's a clean and simple design with a simple message - peace....

The Greetery - Fireside Collection New Release - Day One!

Hello, my creative, talented and crafty friends! It's a gooooood day today! It's time for a warm, wonderful, classy and  amazing new release from The Greetery! The new release is just in time for us to to get ready for the holidays! I look forward to Betsy's holiday vision every year, don't you!?  It's very beautiful with all the classic themes of the holidays - Ribbons and bows, and greenery, and Christmas cards...and even a cozy fireplace! It's very lovely! I think you're going to love it! 

The new release is called Fireside Collection! I used mostly traditional colors of Christmas and lots of gold accents.  The design team will be sharing products and projects today and tomorrow and then the new release will be available for shopping on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 10am EST! Just two more days to wait. I had a really fun time with this release - as always though!!  I'm excited to share it with you.

I will be sharing three cards today, and four cards and projects tomorrow! The cards for today all have a theme of cozy Christmas... Loads of beautiful inspiration from the entire design team for the next two days. My supplies, prize information, and links to everyone's blogs are all at the bottom of this post. Let's get started! YEAH! Are you ready for Christmas?!

My first card today features the brand new Fireside Dies and the brand new Warm and Cozy Stamps AND the brand new Hung with Care dies! Lots of NEW on this card! My finished card is a horizontal A2 card base, layered with pretty red patterned paper (inspired to look like wallpaper)... All those pretty dies are the star of the show! I created a warm living room scene with a fireplace and a big beautiful Christmas tree. The mantle is all decorated for Christmas Eve with stockings hung and greenery. I even added a couple of deer decorations! My home decor for this card is classic and clean - white and grey... The floor is made using the Herringbone Die and the tree was made using the Frosty Pines Dies. I have fun mixing and matching new and old Greetery supplies to create the perfect scene. I really enjoy this type of crafting cards!

My second card for today features the brand new Have A Spine Book Dies, the brand new Bookish Holiday Frames and the brand new Christmas Story! These dies all work together to make beautiful books! Genius! My inspiration for my book came from a church hymnal! I used the previously released Heaven and Nature Sing suite of products to decoration the cover of my book/hymn book! I used pretty blue and kraft, with touches of gold to create the look. The background under the arch is a new stamp/die combo that is meant for this book! I used clear embossing ink on kraft paper to create this tone on tone look. Isn't it cool that the sentiments fit perfectly along the spine of the book? Betsy thought of everything. My finished card is an A2 card base, layered with kraft and rich blue cardstocks. My design elements include gold paint splatter and bright blue pearls.

My third card for today features the brand new Winter Crest stamps, dies and stencils. A new addition to the Crest series - it's so lovely! My finished card is a cream A2 card base layered with green and striped papers... Arches in cream and vellum serve as a backdrop for the pretty crest and greenery.... I ink blended the top of the crest and added splatters... I finished with pearls, twine and a perfect gold star. This card is clean and simple - and relatively flat for mailing. A good one for mass production too!

Falloween projects with Honey Bee Stamps!

Happy Friday! It's been a fun and crafty week! LOTS to share this week! YEAH! Love it all! So many good new releases to play with and share! Wishing you a great weekend ahead. Sunday is the first day of Fall! So happy! Do you have fun weekend plans? I think we're going to try and go see Beetlejuice movie! But not much else going on this weekend. I have lots of work to get done. Sending some Fall good vibes your way!! Today's post features the brand new Falloween Release from our friends at Honey Bee Stamps. It's a combination release of Fall and Halloween. Gosh, so many great new products to love! I made two cards to show you today - let's get started!

First up is this Halloween card featuring the brand new Scaredy Cat Dies! OMG a cat! So dang cute and fun! I gave him green eyes like my Lucky!! Some adorable bats and a cute spider LOL! I absolutely had the best time making this card!! It's a slightly larger card this time - about 5" x 6" to make more room for that big sentiment up top. For my card, I layered orange gingham and an ink blended panel... I die cut and shaded all the elements and added white gel pen accents. I used Copic markers to shade the smaller pieces. I created a pumpkin patch scene for my kitty cat....

 

Since all the pieces of the cat are black - I used a small sponge dauber and white ink to add just a hint of an outline around each piece. This makes it all pop!! I layered two pieces of each part to make it a bit thicker.

Next up is this sweet sweet scarecrow just ready for pumpkin picking! He's outstanding in his field! LOLZ! This card has a LOT of pieces but it was really fun to mix and match fall colors and patterns for my fall scene. I used loads of Honey Bee dies for this one. I'm featuring the brand new Scarecrow dies but there are lots of older favorites too!! My finished card is an A2 card base, layered with kraft and then ink blending to look like an Autumn sky.... I put him into a farm cart full of gourds and pumpkins.... Also I added a sweet leaf banner for him to hold.... The scarecrow and his plaid shirt finish the look so nicely!

Pretty Pink Posh - More Autumn New Release - Pumpkin Pie Cupcake Card!

Hello my friends! How's your week going? Can you believe it's almost October?! Gosh! I do love this time of year and wish it would go by slower!! We've been out and about enjoying the nice weather and Fall activities!! Hope you're doing great! As promised, I'm back with another Autumn card I made with the awesome new release from Pretty Pink Posh! Yippeeeee! Today, my card combines two yummy things - cupcakes and pie! Hahaha. Today is also a big Instagram Hop for the new release, so if you're on Instagram, be sure to pop over and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!!

My card today features the brand new Big Fall Cupcake Dies set and the brand new Fall Script Die, along with lots of my previously released PPP favorites! My finished card is a cream card base in A2 size. I layered vellum, gingham, and a pretty eyelet panel. Then my cupcake is the star of the show! There are so many fun details on this card. Boy, was it fun to make!! I die cut all the pieces from several dies sets (SEE my supply list). I inked each piece of the dies for shading and ink splattered some pieces too. My eyelet panel in ombre inked with Distress inks and a blending brush. Bits of gold, and then some pretty pearl accents complete the look. Makes you hungry, right?! Halloween Fun with Photoplay Paper!

Hi everyone! It's officially going to be FALL this week! And I am here for it! I hope you had a great weekend and hope you're doing well! I am SO EXCITED about Fall and Halloween crafting! We had a great weekend - we went to a Fall Vintage Show at one of our favorite places and we went for a mini road trip to some crafting places, and out for coffee and church, and the weather has been amazing! I started a HUGE cross stitch project this week (my biggest one ever) and it's a Halloween Sampler. I will definitely not finish in time for this Halloween, but maybe next year's Halloween! It's so cool. Once I get some done, I'll share it with you! 

I saw this quote the other day from the artist Georgia O'Keeffe: “I have done nothing all summer but wait for myself to be myself again.” And this is me totally! I am renewed by the Autumn breezes and the changing light.... 

Today I'm sharing four fun projects I made with the new Halloween collections from Photoplay Paper! Their Halloween stuff is awesome! And everything is such nice quality and easy to work with. Three of my projects today have a vintage theme and one is pastel Halloween (Love this trend)... I have a list a mile long of all the things I want to make in the next six weeks or so. Better get bizzzyyyyyyy.

First up today is a circular card! I always forget how fun it is to create a circle card! I used all papers from Photoplay and mixed and matched papers, stickers, gems and a bit of ribbon from my stash. I die cut the card base from black shimmer paper, then layered polka dots in black and white and orange. Everything is splashed with dark silver ink. I added gems and an epoxy shape too. Bits of glitter glue on each piece add the right amount of sparkle. The card opens at the top and there's plenty of room inside for a message. The collection is called Creepin' It Real! Traditional colors and themes for spooky season!

Next up is a cool witchy poo card! This card is an A2 card base layered with black shimmer paper and orange spider web papers... Then I used ephemera and stickers from the collection, and gems and glitter.....and more papers! It's kind of a mixed media piece! I made the broom myself with a stick from our front bushes! I'll talk more about that in a minute...

Here's a close up of my handmade broom! EEK. So fun to make!! I got a small twig from our front yard.... I cut a strip of the plaid patterned paper about two inches wide. I used scissors to cut into the paper strip about three quarters of the way up. Then I glued the strip onto the twig by carefully wrapping it tightly around the twig. I glued the entire way to keep it nice and tight/compact. After it was dry, I spread the 'bristles' out with my fingers. I wrapped the top with twine and a bow and a gem. And then I added a little bit of glitter glue to it! LOVE this part of my project! 

 

Next up is a little half medallion/rosette decoration! Instead of making a large round rosette, I just made a half one! I added circles to the top and then decorated with stickers and ephemera.... And another epoxy shape.... Aren't those ghosties sill in their florals? So fun!! The whole thing is splashed with gold paint for good measure. Love that bat paper!!

I might end up gluing this onto a card front - or maybe decorating a Halloween project!!

 

 

And lastly for today - another cute little ghostie! I again used new stamps and dies and stickers from Photoplay Paper!! I love the trend of using pink in Halloween cards so I used pink and peach here. Clean and simple design with a bit of gingham and lots of white space. Super fun and easy!!

The Greetery - Flourished Thanks-giving Card!

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! Happy Friday! It is FINALLY starting to feel a bit like Fall here in Sacramento! It's my turn up on The Greetery Blog today to share a project with you! And of course I'm sharing here too! I am always so excited and happy to share with you. As you are well aware (LOL) I absolutely love Autumn.... So for my project today, I am continuing the Fall theme from last month's Greetery release, with warm colors and touches of gold. My card features the brand new Flourished Phrases - Thanks - stamps/stencils/dies. And also some of my previously released favorites! I'm getting a jump on Thanksgiving cards!

 

My finished card is a cream A2 card base. I started by stenciling the Airmail Border in yellow and brown inks to make the base layer for my card. Next I die cut a cream postal panel - keeping it clean and elegant. I stenciled the Flourished Phrases "Thanks" word in orange, brown and yellow - because those colors say Thanksgiving to me. I splattered on some gold paint too! I die cut the Thanks out with the matching Flourished Phrases Thanks die. I die cut a second piece using gold cardstock and layered them for just a touch of a gold shadow. 

 

Next I die cut some pumpkins and corn stalks using the Autumn Harvest Dies. I gently inked the edges of those pieces to add a bit of contrast. I stamped Happy and Giving around the Thanks word to spell out Happy Thanksgiving! It's perfect! I assembled the card using foam tape to add layers and depth. I finished by adding just a few dark orange gems. It's all really warm and cheerful!

My card for today features the brand new Apple Shaker Dies and the brand new Fall Icons and Fall Foliage stamps and dies. September to me says "apple picking" and "apple donuts" LOLZ. How do you like them apples? Well, I like them very much! My finished card is a white A2 card base. Layered with classic red and classic gingham.... The kraft layer was die cut with the gorgeous Leafy Vines die. (love)  I used the Apple Shaker Dies - but not as a shaker! I heat embossed that pretty new sentiment right on the front of the apple... It's SO cute. I stamped, colored and die cut out the little apple from the Fall Icons set and used that as an accent. Seaside Tiny Town Cross Stitch Project!

Hello creative party people! Happy Friday! Happy Labor Day Weekend! The official end of Summer! Wishing you a wonderful long weekend full of fun in the sun! You know that I love Labor Day because that means that the "ber" months are here and Fall is right around the corner! What are you doing this weekend?? We are going to an 80's concert Sunday night and I'm looking forward to fun and dancing in the aisles! Other than that I think we're just hanging out here at home - and probably crafting!! I have my final Summer Cross Stitch of the year! And I finished last week -just in time to post. Now it's going to be full - on Halloween stitching and then Christmas stitching! As you may remember, I have been working on the Tiny Town series and now I have completed three of them! I finished the Valentine Tiny Town this year and the Halloween Tiny Town last Fall! CLICK HERE to see all of the Tiny Towns patterns! I think I'll do the Frosty Tiny Town Next!!

I just completed Seaside Tiny Town! It's full of cute seashore buildings, crabs, a lighthouse and even a weathervane! I looooove the colors in this one!! One of my very favorite things about cross stitch is that it is easy to put in your tote and bring with you. I stitch in the car a lot - when waiting for appointments etc., or at the coffee shop (It always sparks a conversation and I have met the nicest people that way), at a friend's house....anywhere! My friend and I have been meeting on Tuesdays to stitch and have coffee together!  If you are a beginner, these Tiny Town patterns are super fun and easy to learn on!!

The Greetery - Autumn Air Collection - New Release Day Two!

Welcome back to day two of the new Autumn Air release week from The Greetery!! How did you like yesterday's cards and theme? What do you love so far?? Are you an Autumn girlie like me? I'm so excited for fall to arrive. We had a day of rain last week and it was so delightful!!  Thanks for the comments and for being here to share the excitement with me this week! It's my pleasure to be able to introduce the new Autmn Air items to you!! Be sure to look at yesterday's post to see my first three cards. I have three more projects to share today!! And then release day will be tomorrow, Thursday August 29th at 10am EST! Prize information, Supplies, and the links for today are all at the bottom of this post! Join me in some more fun today! I am super excited to share one fall card and two Halloween projects! Let's go! 

SHOP THE NEW RELEASE ON THURSDAY AUGUST 29TH AT 10AM EST!

Today's first card features the brand new Grateful Greetings stamps/stencil/die combo and the brand new Autumn Crest stamp set. I also used previously released Might Oak Botanical Dies! (A favorite) My finished card is an A2 kraft card base. I layered a cream panel and then my focal images. I stenciled and die cut out the Grateful word and added a smaller sentiment on a banner. I used warm fall colors.... The leaves were die cut from colored cardstock and then ink blended and covered in coarse glitter!! A few hearts complete the look. This is a wonderful and special card for Thanksgiving. Makes me feel cozy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This release includes some new Honeycomb products! Yeah! There are new Halloween Honeycombs - a spider, a pumpkin, a candy, and more! For my next card I featured the brand new Honeycomb Spider - but without the honeycomb. He is not a scary spider - he's friendly with his sparkly eyes!! I used the Plump Pumpkin dies and the Rustic Stars to create a happy Halloween greeting! I ink blended some yellow on my background scallop layer.... A few gems and white paint splatters are my accents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My final project for today also features the brand new Halloween Honeycombs! I used the pumpkin and the candy ones to create some fun decorations. This is such a happy and cheery project!! I die cut the paper pieces from colored and glitter cardstock and then affixed the matching color honeycombs... I sprayed the honeycombs with shimmer spray, but it's kind of hard to see in the photo - it's a subtle touch that looks pretty in person! I made banners from the Tear Strip Tags and added BOO! to each one, using the Tear Strip Tags Halloween stamp set. These would be great in some cupcakes (trim the straws shorter) or as table decorations. I used paper straws and attached the honeycomb elements to the straws using my hot glue gun.

The Greetery - Autumn Air Collection - New Release Day One!

Hello, my creative, talented and crafty friends! It's a gooooood day today! It's time for a warm, wonderful, classy and  amazing new release from The Greetery! The new release is just in time for us to celebrate Fall and it's VERY pretty!! It's also FUN - because there are some cute Halloween items too! The release is called Autumn Air! Think leaves and florals, and beautiful sentiments, and more! You're gonna love it. It's warm and inviting and you know me, I used LOTS of fall colors!! The design team will be sharing products and projects today and tomorrow and then the new release will be available for shopping on Thursday, August 29th at 10am EST! Just two more days to wait. I had a really fun time with this release - it's right up my alley! Because we all know I'm a Fall girlie! I'm excited to share it with you.

SHOP THE NEW RELEASE THURSDAY AUGUST 29TH, AT 10AM EST!

I will be sharing three cards today, and two cards and one other project tomorrow. The cards for today all have a theme of gratitude and warmth Perfect for all the Fall occasions and holidays. Every card has golden yellows and pretty oranges... Loads of beautiful inspiration from the entire design team for the next two days. My supplies, prize information, and links to everyone's blogs are all at the bottom of this post. Let's get started! YEAH!

My first card today features the brand new Oakwood stamp/stencil/die combo in a GORGEOUS leaf cluster! My card also features the brand new Pierced Plaid die for the background on the arch. My finished card is an A2 cream card base and I stamped and stenciled with autumnal toned Distress Inks. I used my MISTI to get the perfect placement of the leaf veins... I heat embossed the sentiment in gold embossing. I used the Square Dance Die for my background. Pretty arches, a touch of vellum, and gold paint splatters complete the look. This is one of my favorite things Betsy has ever made - those leaves are divine!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My second card today features the brand new Autumn Crest stamp/die/stencil combo along with the brand new Crest #1 die. I also featured the previously released Autumn Harvest Dies for the pumpkins... My finished card is an A2 cream card base layered with rust paper, more cream cardstock and just a touch of vellum. I ink blended the crest background to make the sentiment pop out more! I used brown gems as accents and also (you know me) gold paint touches. These branches are so elegant and pretty - perfect for a Thanksgiving greeting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My third card for today features the brand new Mum's The Word stamps/stencil/die combo along with the brand new Strength for Today stamps and dies (LOVE). My finished card is a white A2 card base, layered with gingham and then a pretty stitched oval inside to highlight the sentiment. The sentiment is heat embossed in gold and I added a bit of aqua ink blending to balance out all that delicious yellow. I am a November baby so this is my birth month flower! So old fashioned and feminine.... This is a really pretty set, and when you use the dies, it makes a perfect flower frame. I used pearls as my accents here...

Pretty Pink Posh - Halloween New Release 2024 - More Halloween! I want Candyyyyy!

Hello my friends! As promised, I'm back with MORE Halloween projects I made with the awesome new release from Pretty Pink Posh! Yippeeeee! Today, it's all about the candy! Candy corn, and candy buckets! Today is also a big Instagram Hop for the new release, so if you're on Instagram, be sure to pop over and leave a comment for a chance to win a prize!! First up is this overflowing candy bucket that looks just like a happy meal pail from years gone by. PPP nailed this concept and this die set is so great! I die cut out a bright orange pail and filled it with lots of candies, stars and more! Just what you want your pail to look like when you get home from trick or treating! I ink blended and stenciled the background in golden yellow and put the sentiment right onto the lid. Lots of glitter paper and glitter glue, some splatters, and white gel pen accents complete the look. Oh and a spider too! Ha. My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with orange and white gingham of course. This card is a party!! All the supplies are HERE or at the bottom of my post.

Here is my ink blended and stenciled background layer. The yellow makes it all 'glowy' I think!

 

 

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the pumpkin bucket lid...and it fit perfectly. Such a cheery card!

 

 

Next up I made some pretty and retro Candy Corn treat bags! I used the new Candy Corn Shaker Dies along with the Halloween Icons stamps and dies and the Halloween Sentiment Strips. I used glassine treat bags and filled them with Candy Corn - it's prefect! The candy corn shapes are lined with gingham papers in the yellow, orange and white color scheme. I filled each section with sparkly gems from my stash and ink blended the white outer shape to match the colors of the candy. I stamped and die cut little pumpkins to put on the twine bows. The sentiments were heat embossed on black paper using white embossing powder - again - keeping it classic. I do really love to make these glassine bags!! I always include some doilies for the right look. The bags were splattered with black paint and then I also added some gems... Can't wait to give these away! The Greetery - Holly Vintage Christmas Card!

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! I'm back - two days in a row! August is always that strange time each year...when one day I'm posting Fall projects, one day it's Halloween projects and the very next day it's Christmas projects! Ha! Everyone is trying to get all their holiday new releases out in time for us all to make our cards and other things! So today....it's Christmas! Today is my day up on The Greetery Blog today to share. And of course I'm posting here on my blog too. The inspiration came from the beautiful Birth Month Blooms Cuttables from the recent new Greetery release. I just loved the Holly graphic and felt a vintage Christmas card would show it off! It's never too early to start making your holiday cards, right?!

My finished card is an A2 cream card base, layered with green argyle patterned paper, a kraft layer, and then a pretty tag. I went with a vintage vibe in rich classic holiday colors, with gold accents. All my supplies are listed HERE or at the bottom of my post!

 

 

I started by die cutting out the cream tag using the Speed Tagging Die Set, and a cream circle using the Sentiment Suite Basics Die Set. I also die cut the Holly Cuttables using the matching dies. I die cut a gold snowflake using the Snowflakes #2 Dies and gold glitter cardstock. 

 

 

 

 

I inked the edges of the tag and the circle using Distress Inks and a foam dauber. I stamped the words Holly, and Hope using the Birth Month Q4 stamp set and the Comfort and Joy stamp set. I used brown ink to stamp the words for a more vintage look. Here's a side view of all my layers and pieces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I splattered the tag and holly using gold paint and I also splattered gold paint on the green argyle part. I used twine, a button and a pearl from my stash to embellish the top of the tag. I assembled everything using foam tape for dimension on the card.

My first card today features the awesome new Candy Bucket Dies and the new Stitched Ghosts Dies! Gosh, these dies are SO great! It's a set of buckets that look like the old Happy Meal buckets of days gone by. Such fun memories! I used bright lime green to make a Frankenstein bucket and it came out so cool! I added some cute ghosties coming out of the top and a fun sentiment too! I tried something different and used PINK for my background ink blending! I kinda like it because it's different.... And pink and green is always a winning color combo. I used graphic gingham, white gel pen accents and a few gems to finish it off. The finished card is an A2 white card base. I ink blended just the top of my white panel and faded to white at the bottom....

 

My second card is a POP UP card, again featuring those SUPER cute ghosties!! This was the first idea that popped into my head when I saw the ghost dies! A gang of ghosties! I just adore their facial expressions. They are having a GOOD time for sure! I assembled my pop up card base using white cardstock and used orange plaid for the accent papers. I used the new Batty about You set for the sentiment and a bright orange Stitched Pumpkin for the front. Oh, and I couldn't resist a few bats too! This card folds down flat and I would use an A4 envelope to make sure it  fits in - since I extended over the top of the back panel. It's hard to see, but the ghosties have glitter accents on them, and cute pink cheeks done with Copics. All the supplies for this card are HERE or at the bottom of my post!

My third card for today! I couldn't stop making things! This card features the brand new Bat Shaker Dies and the Batty About You Stamp set!! I chose purple and black for a moody color palette. My finished card is an A2 card base layered with purple plaid! The background of the bat shaker is grey gingham and I filled it with the new Halloween Magic Beads. I stenciled the background using purple and yellow inks... And stamped some extra bats behind the big shaker bat. Can a bat be cute? I think he is! LOL. New Release Week from Pretty Pink Posh! Halloween! Yeah!

Concord & 9th New Release and Anniversary Celebration! Happy Fall Door Decor!

Hey friends! Happy Friday! And, today is the 9th of the month, which means that there is a NEW RELEASE from Concord & 9th today! Yahoooo! The new release is available today, August 9th, at 11am EST! It's SO GOOD! And also, Concord and 9th today is celebrating their NINE year anniversary! Congratulations to some of the best people and creativity out there! I'm so very happy for their continued success! I have a card to share today made using the new release, and then, since it's their anniversary, I thought I would share some of my favorite C9 cards from the past nine years! Yay! The release today is their Autumn release and it's really good!! (As always!)

My card today features the brand new Door Decor stamps and dies, along with the lovely Playful Pumpkins Dies from last year. I created a warm and inviting Happy Fall card and I love how it came out! My finished card is not a rectangle! But it will fit into an A2 envelope.... You could also attach the door to an A2 card front if you want. I kind of like the different shape! I used warm Autumn tones for my color palette. I would sure wish that my front door was this pretty!

 

I started by die cutting out all the pieces! I cut the base from cream cardstock and then I die cut the doors from woodgrain cardstock. I lined the back of the windows with vellum for just a bit of a frosty touch! The matching stamp set has sentiments that fit perfectly onto a little banner.... I die cut the leaves from yellow, orange and rust cardstocks (all from C9)....

 

I die cut some Playful Pumpkins out to adorn the front porch. For the doors I splattered on some brown and white inks to make it look a bit weathered.

 

 

The doors open wide and welcoming! I lined the inside with some gingham cardstock and then stamped a second sentiment onto a stitched circle... SO CUTE!

 

As usual, the dies are genius! There is an arched leafy piece and a straight leafy piece. You die cut out the base and then layer on the leaves on top! You can make this greenery for Christmas too! It's really all so lovely.

 

I die cut out a whole bunch of leaves. I inked each leaf with a small dauber and my C9 ink pads. Then I just glued them onto the arch base! Easy and fun.

 

Now, if you want your card to open, be sure to only glue down one side of your banner and your leaf arch!! Here's the inside of my card...

Yosemite National Park - Photo Essay!

Hi friends! How is your week going?! I hope you're doing great! We are in the middle of a (another) heat wave and I'm just counting down the days until Fall arrives and cooler weather returns. It's been a hot summer, and a fun summer too! On Monday my hubs had the day off work and he took one look at my beleaguered, hot face, and said - let's drive to the ocean today! Boy, that was just what I needed - Vitamin Sea. We didn't know it beforehand, but we arrived at our fav beach to find MANY whales swimming in the cove! Humpback whales.... They were everywhere - and surprisingly close to the shore. We watched them for hours!! Magic! California is weird, and expensive, but boy do I feel blessed by the nature that surrounds us here! My post for today is another example of that!

Today I'm finally getting around to sharing our trip to Yosemite back in June! My post is a photo essay featuring the gorgeous Yosemite National Park in Central/Northern California! We went on a day trip on June 12th and it's taken me a while to get it posted here! Grab a cuppa and spend a little time with me! We are very very lucky that we live fairly close to Yosemite! It's easy for us to do a day trip down and back so that's what we did on this trip. We've been here many times, but each time it feels new again and I never tire of the awesomeness of God's creation. It's a special place and I hope if you haven't already, that you get to visit here one day!

All my photos today were taken with my iPhone! I have lots of very good camera equipment, but I find if I use my phone instead of all my gear, that it helps me stay more present in the moment. Gotta travel light sometimes, literally and figuratively. I was really looking for a quiet peaceful simple day, so I left all my gear at home. We filled up the cooler with drinks and yummy snacks, and hit the road at 2am! YES 2am! Ha. It takes about three hours to drive there, and you know we had to stop for coffee along the way. We saw the sun rise on the trip and that makes my husband happy! He is not only an early bird, but he is the earliest bird that wakes up the other early birds! LOL. (I am an exhausted night owl....)  I hope you enjoy the photos. I'll put some information before each one for a bit of history and context. CLICK HERE for the NPS website to read more.

 

This is the famous Tunnel View! Because this vista opens up right after you emerge from a short tunnel on your way into the park. It's AMAZING! And, it's where everyone stops for a photo op!! The waterfall you see there is Bridalveil Fall.... Lots of times there is a rainbow in the mist, but not this day. That waterfall that looks small in the photo is 600 feet tall! Does that give you some perspective on the size of this beautiful valley!? 

 

This is Yosemite Falls (Upper).... As reflected in the river. This in particular is one of my favorite views in the park. Gotta come early to get the reflection just right!

 

 

This is the famous El Capitan Granite Formation! This is the "rock" that you see all the movies of the rock climbers on! This tiny rock is about 3000 feet tall from the base. That's about three times the Eiffel Tower! And people climb it! (Not me!) It's pretty remarkable!

 

This is the view from the top of Glacier Point. The top waterfall in the photo is Nevada Fall, and the bottom waterfall in the photo is Vernal Fall. For perspective, Nevada Fall is 600 feet tall and Vernal Fall is 325 feet tall! They look tiny! Fun fact - I have hiked almost to the top of Nevada Fall once! And a couple of times to the top of Vernal Fall (The MIST trail which is one of the highlights of my entire life)! 

 

Here's a closer view of Bridalveil Fall from the path up to it! The sound of it is so powerful and the air is cool and crisp from the mist.... You can walk right up to the bottom of it and feeeeel it!

Early in the morning, by the river, this pretty young lady was having her Quinceañera photos taken!

 

 

My boyfriend of 31 years!! A rare photo of my husband smiling! LOL. This is his favorite place on earth and he was so happy in this moment. Behind him is the famous Half Dome... And he and his friend Randy climbed to the top of it several years ago. So incredible!! 

 

 

And here we are - all smiles!! What a glorious day it was!

 

 

Ain't no interwebs here.... Gotta go old school if you need to make a phone call!! 

 

We found some butterfly wings in the grass - they were perfect.

 

Another slightly different view of Yosemite Falls (Upper and Lower).... It's very hard to convey the extreme scale of everything. It's like you're so small in the midst of this amazing place. This is one of the places where I really feel God. If I'm in the right mode it actually makes me cry.

 

 

One more view of Half Dome taken from Glacier Point...

 

There is a lovely chapel near the meadow in the valley floor. They have services, and you can get married there too! We have been there before when a beautiful bride and groom were out front having photos done. Magic!

 

 

The trees! The clouds! The amazingly blue sky! A quick note - you do not have to be a hiker to see all of these things!! Of course, there are way more sights to see if you're willing to hike even a little bit. I like that the park is accessible to everyone! There are a lot of places to stay surrounding the park - and a semi big town (Oakhurst) with hotels and even a Starbucks... AND A STAMP STORE!!! (The Cat's Meow)!  There are many camping options, but you really need to plan ahead if you want to camp - spaces fill up fast! We usually don't visit in the height of Summer - we prefer early June or September!!

Hey friends! Happy Monday! Happy August! I have a fun project to share with you today! There's an awesome blog hop today! If you're new here today because of the Blog Hop - welcome! My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with white + snowflakes, then vellum, then the festive images! This card features the brand new Holiday Bicycle stamps, stencils, dies combo along with some of my previously released Pinkfresh Studio favorites. I chose bright, happy colors and added some sparkle too! 

 

I started by stenciling and die cutting out the holly and pine branches for the top of my card. After I stenciled/die cut them, I used my wonderful Pinkfresh Studio ink cubes and small and large blending brushes. I used white paint spray to add some snow! Then I stamped and stenciled the bicycle/packages and die cut them out with the matching dies. I made a cute little pink bicycle!! This image is just so adorable, with those snowflake spokes!

 

 

Here's a close up of the leaves clusters at the top of the card and that perfect sentiment.... Love the saying, and the font!

 

 

The bottom layer was stamped with the Snowflake Background stamp and pretty aqua ink.... Adds just a touch of snow!

The Greetery - These are the Days Collection - Day One!

Hello, my creative, talented and crafty friends! It's going to be a great day today, because I'm here to tell you about a NEW RELEASE from The Greetery! The new release is called These are the Days! It's calendar/planner themed - which is so perfect and fun. Are you a planner girlie? I am! And Betsy has created a suite of products for us the use to make our own calendars and also calendar themed cards and planners. I love this idea so much and I know you will too. One of the best parts of the new release is a collection of florals called Birth Month Blooms. There are flowers for every month of the year and corresponding words that make gorgeous botanical projects! SO much good stuff. 

This month only has one release day - today - and the entire team will be sharing our projects and the new products on our blogs. TOMORROW is release day and the release will be available for shopping at 10am - July 30th!

I will be sharing three projects today - two cards, and a calendar!! Loads of beautiful inspiration from the entire design team today. My supplies, prize information, and links to everyone's blogs are all at the bottom of this post. Let's get started!

My first card today is a special birthday card - and I used the calendar items to show the recipients birthday! This card features the brand new Calendar Basics stamp set, and the brand new Birth Month Q2 stamps and dies. My finished card is an A2 cream card base, layered with some pretty rose gingham. I wanted a bit of a vintage feel to this card - with the roses and the gold....

 

I started by stamping two gorgeous rose clusters using pink and green inks. (THESE ARE MY FAVORITE INK PADS FOR 2/3 STEP STAMPING) I die cut the roses using the matching dies. I stamped the vertical calendar grid in black.

 

Here's a close up of the beautiful roses stamps! I splattered gold paint on them too!

 

The roses were affixed to the calendar using foam tape. I heat embossed happy birthday in gold, and circled my friend's birthday date!  This is a GREAT way to mark a special date - birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christmas....by circling it on the grid! Love this!

 

 

My next project is a lovely 2025 calendar! Gosh I really really like this concept! There are new Pre-Printed calendars that you can decorate as gifts or for your own desk. I used the 2025 calendar and decorated each page using the new preprinted monthly flowers!!! This is awesome. The Spiral die cut cuts out holes at the top of the calendar and then you use the binding to wind it through the holes to make it able to flip!! Betsy thought of everything. I'm going to show you a few of the pages....

 

For each page, I die cut a kraft rectangle and stamped the name of the flower onto it. I then die cut out the preprinted flowers for each month... My first thought for this project was mass production as friend gifts - so I went with the preprinted florals instead of stamping them - much faster!!

 

 

 

 

 

On each page I used Stickles glitter glue to add little bits of shimmer and shine. I also splattered white paint onto each rectangle.

 

 

My final project for today is a card made using the brand new Birth Month Q3 stamps and dies, and the new Spiral Bound Die.... The sentiment is from the brand new One Fine Day stamp set.  I used pretty shades of yellow and magenta and a bit of ink blending. My finished card is an A2 white card base....

 

I stamped and die cut out the Aster florals - soooo pretty! Here is a side view of my card layers. (THESE ARE MY FAVORITE INK PADS FOR 2/3 STEP STAMPING)

 

I die cut a scalloped rectangle and ink blended just the top part using bright yellow ink... The lovely sentiment is heat embossed with gold and then die cut with the matching die.

 

 

These colors together just say SUMMER to me! So fresh and cheerful.

 

Here is a close up of the die set that looks like spiral binding - genius!!

Better late than never - my 4th of July Cross Stitch! Primrose Cottage 4th of July Rules Pattern!

Hi everyone! Let's kick off a new week! The world has gone mad and crafting is a good way to escape right now. I'm so grateful I have a hobby (hobbies) that help keep me in the moment and keep my mind occupied. I hope that you are doing well and that you have a happy week this week. Today's project is a 'better late than never' project! I had high hopes to finish and frame this cross stitch piece for the 4th of July this year... But alas, I finished it just this morning at around 1am! Oh well, it will be ready to hang next July! Ha! I really wanted to share it with you today. I do love a patriotic cross stitch. 

This pattern is called 4th of July Rules and it's by Primrose Cottage. FULL SUPPLIES are HERE or at the bottom of my post! I stitched on natural 30 count fabric and used DMC floss in my own chosen colors. I love brighter yellows and reds!! Here is my completed piece! Finished stitching size is approximately 5" x 20" so it's a long narrow piece. I'm not sure if I will put it inside a frame, or maybe make it a wall hanging on a string?? I have time to decide, don't I?? LOL. 

 

This was a fun stitch - not too hard and not too easy. Just enough colors, but not too many colors.... Lots of my favorite elements - a tiny flag, some bunting, pretty words....and patriotic colors!

 

 

 

In stamping, and in cross stitch, I really love to combine different fonts and I love how this all comes together with the wording!!

Here is a photo of the pattern book! Let me tell you - this book is SO NICE!!! The pattern is broken down into six segments, and each page is one segment and it's in full color! And the pattern is HUGE so it's very easy to see and read. I really appreciate this type of format since I have very bad eyesight. It was a dream following this pattern!! 

I'm going to stitch up HIVE RULES as my next edition of rules!!! It's a bee theme - and the colors are swoonworthy!!

I'm sharing two cheerful and bright Halloween cards today that I made with supplies from the Boo Box! Let's get started! First up is some spooky cute ghosties and a bit of sparkle too! My finished card is an A2 card base layered with gorgeous orange stripes, vellum and a tag! This card is so fun!

 

The Boo Box has two large stamp sets and one sentiment stamp set, along with lots of standalone dies and a big background stamp. I think my favorite images are these adorable ghosts! I stamped and die cut them out and added pink cheeks with a Copic Marker! I die cut the spooky die from both glitter paper and black paper and stacked them. I stamped some yellow stars in the background....

 

The Boo Box includes a die set with a great tag and add ons for the tag!! Love that! The little bat is included in the tag dies set.... I tied a bow at the top and attached the bat!

My second card for today features lots of Halloween icons in a grid pattern.... My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with that awesome plaid patterned paper... The Boo Box includes a great grid die set and I die cut out some of the grids and added the classic Halloween icons - cat, bat, witch hat and pumpkin!

 

That little cat makes me smile! I added the sentiment in the center of my card and placed the grids around the sentiment.  A few splatters of black paint and some glitter stars complete the look!! I added glitter glue accents to all the images too.

The Greetery Summer Watercolor Butterfly Card!

Hi there my creative and crafty friends! I'm up on The Greetery Blog today to share a project with you! I am always so excited and happy to share with you over there! And of course, sharing my card here too. Hope you had a great 4th of July! Sacramento has been HOT. Gosh, so hot. We are set to break an all time record for most days over 100 degrees. I think my brain is cooked! I'm laying low and moving slow.... For my project for today I created a watercolor card with a nature theme and an all purpose sentiment. I haven't made a watercolor card in a while and I was inspired by the pretty butterflies of Summertime.... Simple and airy for the season....

 

My finished card is an A2 size Kraft card base, layered with watercolor paper die cut with the beautiful A2 Scallops Dies. All the die cut pieces on this card were made using watercolor paper. I kept the design clean and simple and let that pretty purple butterfly shine! All the coloring was done with my set of Mini Distress Inks and a water brush... I do love this technique.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I started by die cutting the Fern Dies, the Butterfly Dies, the background panel and the sentiment panel from watercolor paper. I used Distress Inks and water brushes to color all the pieces and set them aside to dry. For the background I used a wet on wet watercolor technique: Put down a good amount of clear water onto the paper, then add the blue ink into the water and let it spread out into a free form shape! I use a large brush for the plain water and lots of water.... You never know what you'll get with this and I love that!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After all my pieces were dry, I glued together the Fern and the Butterfly using liquid glue. I added a purple enamel dot to the butterfly. I stamped the sentiment in brown Distress Ink and then went over the writing with a detail water brush to make it 'messy.' I assembled all the elements together and I used foam tape to attach the sentiment. I do love the greens against the bright purple butterfly....

Happy 4th of July 2024!

Happy 4th of July! Happy Independence Day! Happy Birthday America! Sending love and good wishes for a fun and fabulous holiday today! I hope you have a fun day and get lots of BBQ and fireworks! I am looking forward to the 4th of July in our neighborhood. Everyone is always outside enjoying the warm evening and lighting off cool fireworks displays and the atmosphere is so jovial and happy. I have been making tons of patriotic cards and projects to show you, and today I have one last patriotic card! I used lots and lots of brand new supplies from the amazing new Summer 2024 release from Honey Bee Stamps. What an awesome release - so many good products. I have many more ideas! Check it out here!

This card features the brand new Eagle Dies, The Land of the Free background stamp (LOVE), the new Because of the Brave sentiments, and more... My finished card is an A2 cream card base, layered with blue stripes and then more (lots more) layers and elements! I used a traditional Americana color palette and kept it vintage too.... Everything classically USA. (By the way, are you excited for the Olympics?!) I used it all -- patterned paper, glitter cardstock, vellum, wax seal, and distress ink! Oh and don't forget the gold splatters!

 

Here's a side view of all the layers and elements on my card. For the sentiment I die cut out the large letters from gold cardstock and then layered the vellum sentiment over the top. 

 

I double layered the letters USA with gold and dark brown cardstocks. I stamped the sentiment onto the vellum using Stazon black ink using my MISTI.

 

The star of the show are these new Eagle Dies!!! WOW. The layers are easy to understand and easy to put together - and it really looks like an eagle!! I added gold paint to the tips of his wings for some extra pizazz!! Isn't he marvelous?? In this photo you can also see that I used a background die on the circle just behind the eagle. I thought it looked really vintage....

 

This new background stamp is great! I stamped it in gold/yellow ink and then used distress inks around the edges. I crumpled the stamped panel into a ball in my hands and then unfolded it flat and this way it looks like old paper/cloth. I splattered gold paint on that panel also.

 

Hands down, Honey Bee has the best wax seals and melts! This new 3D star is perfection. I made my seal in blue wax to fit the color theme. It is affixed using foam squares.

 

 

 

Look at the detail in that wax seal! Perfection!

 

 

 

And lastly, here's a patriotic photo of me out in our front yard last week! We were getting ready to go somewhere so I took a quick photo to update my Facebook profile pic! Yes - I am very patriotic! :-)

That's it for today! And I think that's it for the 4th of July projects! I have some patriotic stitching but I didn't finish them all! Boo! Seems there is never enough time for stitching!
