HAPPY HALLOWEEN GHOULFRIENDS!! BOO!! It's less than a week until Halloween now and I have one last project to share with you, with a pumpkin theme!! As usual, I had way more ideas than time and this was the last thing that I got made in time for Halloween. I guess there's always next year. I think to myself (again) ...self...you gotta start earlier! LOL. The weather turned very cold this week (40's at night) and the leaves are colorful and I'm generally in a fall mood. LOOOVE it. We carved pumpkins on Thursday and the front yard is all decorated. My costume is ready and the candy has been purchased! Bring on Halloween 2023! Also, this coming up week is my birthday and we have something SUPER fun planned! We are going to see Gwen Stefani in concert! I absolutely love her and she's been on my concert bucket list for ages. Well, she's playing this weekend in our city and in a venue that's only 4,000 people so we will have an intimate show. I've been a No Doubt fan from the beginning and love her on The Voice too! I'm am beyond excited for next Saturday!! I have my outfit all planned even, and you know it involves checkerboards and sequins!! Anyhoooooo, on to my project!
I used supplies from Lawn Fawn to make (more) Tiny Gift Boxes! I really love these gift boxes, and you've seen here on my blog the little Bees and Ladybugs and the adorable skunks, and more. Well, this fall they came out with a ghost one and I had to have her! Hee Hee. I made a little trio of tiny gift/treat boxes today; a cat, a jack o lantern, and a ghost. I also made a little banner with some Lawn Fawn Stamps. To make these, you use the Tiny Gift Box Base, and then the add ons for the different characters. (Supplies are all listed out at the bottom of my post)... Let's look!
Here's a top down shot of the tiny boxes. I used Lawn Fawn Gingham paper to make the boxes and that makes them so much cuter!! Purple, orange and green for Halloween!! The boxes die cut out in ONE piece which is awesome. Simply fold and glue and they go together quick and easy.
I used the Fangtastic Friends and the Wavy Banners to make my little Halloween Sign. The bats are colored in with Copic Markers and then I used white gel pen accents and some sparkly glitter glue too!
I really cannot pick a favorite, but I do think I'm partial to that little ghostie witch!! Hee hee. I love that the pumpkin one has a 3D stem and those cute leaves... Of course I made a black cat!! The ghost has wittle arms that hold that wittle pumpkin. Lolz. I used Copic markers to add accents to the different die cut pieces. I also used glitter glue and white gel pen accents on everything to add those little details I love.
The rest of the photos are mostly just close ups of everything so you can see everything. In reality, this project is sooooo easy. A great thing to make with the kiddos, or to make a bunch to bring to the office. A little bit of candy fits inside and it's perfect.
Here's another fun photo for today!! I absolutely love to get coffee and we have a great coffee scene here in Sacramento!! The other day I went to my favorite place and ask for some spooky latte art. Well, they delivered! Check out this awesome pumpkin!! I had my skeleton hand in my backpack for props and I took some fun photos. I do think it's important to be silly sometimes and find the joy in the small things. Lord knows it's been a hard year and something like a pumpkin coffee can make me smile and pause for a moment....
Okay friends! Have an awesome weekend! I think from here on out I'll probably be switching to Christmas crafting mode... And maybe something for Thanksgiving too! I really feel like the rest of the year is going to go by so fast. Wishing you a fun and happy Halloween - all treats and no tricks! Take care and love ya. Leave me a comment and tell me what's up with you!!! I love to hear from you! XOXO
