Hi friends! Happy Mon...I mean Tuesday! It sure feels like Monday after a nice long weekend! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the beginning of Summer where you live! We had a nice weekend with church, and gardening and even went to a movie. Our weather has been postcard perfect and I am loving it. I keep waiting for it to be super hot but our temps have been great. And this week it's going to be June! Can't believe it!
I am aware that some of my project photos are still missing from random blog posts! I can't fix it on my end (ugh) and I'm waiting for Typepad to resolve it for me. Thank you for being patient while this all gets ironed out. It's been super frustrating! Photos are my mode of communication and it's making me kinda cray cray!
Today I'm sharing a card I made with the brand new fabulous card kit from Taylored Expressions! It's called Love Grows Here and it's full of plants! Ever notice how there are certain trends in stamping and crafting? Well, plants are 10000% on trend right now! And I love it. I am definitely a plant person. Are you? The new card kit has stamps and stencils and dies and more!! I think you're gonna love it too. Here's my card that features the elements from the new kit. My finished card is an A2 card base, covered with woodgrain paper and then lots of green and earth tones...
Here's a side view of my layers and my plant shelves! So much fun!!
The stencils and matching dies in this kit are genius! You stencil all the pots on a piece of paper and the die cut them all out at once with the matching die. Then you stencil all the plants and die cut them at once too. Super easy for great results. I used warm earth tones and then splattered on some white paint to the pots for a bit of interest.
The sentiments in the card kit are so cute!! And with one of my favorite things - mixed fonts.
For my embellishments I used some green glitter gems and one little heart.... I used foam tape to mount my plants onto the card. I used the dies to create some plant shelves in shades of brown. Looks like a plant store!
Here is the complete card kit - available now! See how the dies are - for the stencils. I love that it's so easy to cut everything out.
And here's a photo of just the stamps and stencils!
That's it for today's post! I am wishing you a wonderful week ahead my friends! XOXO

This kit is really something. Love all the pots. Your colors are beautiful also. We we in Iowa over the holidays. Just trying to get through unpacking and laundry. Summer is on here in Michigan. 80-90 degrees with no rain in sight. It is good weather for staying inside after noon. I have some cards lined up to work on. Stay cool ...

VERY PRETTY, Wanda! I LOVE those pots & your splatters! You've created a sweet little green house look! ;) I looked at the kit & I LOVE how they've kept all the dies together, & the only stamp is the pot details! Not to mention the stencil to color.... This DOES look like a really nice kit! AND YOU'VE showed it off, WONDERFULLY! Hope ALL is well there with you & Mark & Lucky! We're enjoying milder temps here as well. You need a sweater when you go out in the morning! SENDING HUGS DEAR FRIEND! ;)<3
