I HAVE TWO BLOG POSTS TODAY! PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THEM BOTH! THANK YOU!
Hi friends! Are you ready for another beautiful new release from The Greetery!? I know I am! Yay! The new release is called Sweet and Sunny and it is just that - sweet and sunny! Beautiful florals, Summer insects, honey pots and more! It's delightful, beautiful and inspiring. Today and tomorrow the design team will share product reveals and projects to get your creativity flowing... Then the entire release is available for purchase on Wednesday, June 29th at 10am EST. In my cards for this release I used lots of bright colors...lots of yellow and pinks and greens. It was so much fun to create everything. I think you're gonna love this new release. Today I'm sharing three cards so let's get started!
My first card is a kraft A2 size card base, layered with gingham, vellum and white layers. Nothing says summer like light blue gingham and yellow! I used the brand new Honey Jar stamps and dies, the new Buzzwords stamps and dies and the new Leaves all Around stencils and dies... Lots of new new new here!
All my ink pad colors are linked at the very bottom of my post. I think I found the perfect yellow combo for this adorable honey jar! The jar is stamped in three layers to get the perfect effect. The honey jar is the focus of the card and I placed it in the center of some pretty leaves. I added the honey stirrer and some bees buzzin around.
The new Buzzwords stamps and dies are so cute! Fun and witty sayings for honey and bees. Love.
To make the jar topper, I die cut the piece from gingham (once) and white cardstock (twice) and layered the three pieces so it was nice and thick. I wrapped twine around it and added a sweet little blue heart. I matched the blue in the flowers too. So fresh!
I stamped some honeycombs up in the corner and splattered on some yellow and white inks. I added small bits of Diamond Stickles to the bee wings.
Here's a side view to see how I layered everything. This card was so fun to make! Use your MISTI to line up the honey jar stamps - so easy.
Next up is my card featuring the gorgeous new Honeysuckle Stems Stamps and Dies! My finished card is an A2 white card base layered with orchid, vellum and white layers. I added yellow ink blending to the top white panel to offset that gorgeous orchid color palette!
I stamped and die cut all three of the Honeysuckle flowers that come in the set. The stamps are easy to line up - again with a MISTI. They are each slightly different and I put them all together and tied them with some twine and a bow.
I used the Scripty Hello die in white paper and inked it in ombre to match the Honeysuckle flowers....
Here is a close up of my paper layers!
And a close up of the flowers.... I added some matching tiny hearts - well, because I love tiny hearts! LOL.
For this next card, I went with a completely different style of card! I went very vintage, shabby chic with it! This card features the brand new Honey Bee Die, the new Honeycomb Corners dies, and lots of other Greetery Favorites! My finished card is a cream A2 card base, horizontally oriented. I layered with black, text, cream, vellum and more cream cardstock! It has loads of layers! But the star is that gorgeous Honey Bee Queen!
I die cut the Honey Bee from black cardstock, yellow cardstock and vellum for the wings. I layered the bee together and splattered on some white paint. I also added a bit of darker yellow to her body using a Copic Marker. The sentiment is from the Curio words set. LOVE it for this use.
Here's a close up of the paper layers. The text cardstock is from a paper pad from Joann's. I die cut the Honeycomb Corners and placed a few around the bee. You know I love some splatters, and I used both black and white paint on this project.
I had this cool crown embellishment in my stash and I glued it on top of the bee. I used the Greetery Pretty Postmarks stamps to stamp text and post cancellations onto the layers. I used my Distresser tool to shabby chic the edges up a bit. Everything was giving some Antique Linen Distress Ink too - with a big sponge dauber.
Okay, friends, that's it for DAY ONE of The Greetery Sweet and Sunny Release Week! I will have three more projects tomorrow! I am so happy to be sharing these products with you. The new release will be for sale Wednesday, June 29th at 10am EST! Have a blessed day. XOXO

Dear Wanda -
I adore that first card. Blue/white gingham is a particular weakness for me, especially with gold as an accent color. I adore it! Your honeysuckle card and the one w/ the black/white gingham and the center-stage bee are also beautiful. I love the colors in the honeysuckle card.
