I HAVE TWO BLOG POSTS TODAY! BE SURE TO READ THEM BOTH! THANK YOU!
Hi friendddzzzzzz! I'm buzzin' by in this blog post with some cutie pie beeeezzzzz and an awesome new card kit from Taylored Expressions! The new Card Kit is called The Bee's Knees! And it totally is the bee's knees! The kit is live now for purchase, and if I was a bettin' woman, I would bet that this one will sell out. It's perfect for Summer projects and all kinds of sweet things! I have two cards to share with you - made with the kit! CLICK HERE to purchase your kit now!
First up is a card covered in beeeees! I used the large background stamp/stencil combo to make a whole panel of bees onto kraft cardstock. My finished card is an A2 white card base, layered with blue and then kraft. I love kraft and yellow together!
The stamp/stencil combo is super easy to use. You stamp the black portion and then stencil the yellow and the wings. I used sponges and blender brushes. The wings were done with white pigment ink and I like how it looks on the kraft! It's hard to see, but there's also some glitter. Here's a close up of my layers.
I heat embossed the sentiment onto a black rectangle and layered that with vellum. I tied some twine around the top layer for a bit more interest and texture. I stamped/stenciled a second panel and used the bee die cuts to cut out some extra bees to pop up on the card.
I splattered on some white paint and added a few clear droplets as my finishing touches.
My second card features the honeycomb dies from the kit and some of those chubby bees flying by! This finished card is an A2 kraft card base layered with some gingham from my stash and then white paper. I added a blue circle and glued on the yellow honeycombs.
I stamped the sentiment and the bee trails in black ink directly onto the white panel.
I also stamped/stenciled another panel on white paper this time. I used light aqua ink for the wings. I wanted to show you what it looks like on white paper versus kraft paper. A completely different look!
The kit even comes with envelopes and the cutest envelope stickers!!
Here is the full kit contents! CLICK HERE to purchase!
That's it for this post! Thanks for buzzin' by to check out the new card kit!! XOXO
Yeah, it really looks different from the craft paper lighter and attractive more than craft paper other than that i wanted to help my kids in their school projects i think this would be more batter.
