Doodlebug My Happy Place - Circle Mini Album!

Hi everyone!! How are you this fine Monday?! I hope you had a delightful weekend! Did you get in some crafting time? Or maybe some time outside in the sun? We had a good weekend and it's hard to believe it's already Monday again! I have something really fun to share with you today! After a very long wait, there is a beautiful new collection from Doodlebug! Yay! It's called My Happy Place and I am obsessed with the color palette!! For my first project, I made something I hardly ever make - a mini album scrapbook!! Oh, what a super fun project and a joy to create! I had fun mixing and matching papers and all the adorable embellishments....I hope you like it! There are tons of pictures in this post. The project was super easy too - I hope you try it!

The front and back of my album were made with super thick cardstock and die cut with a Scalloped Circle Die. The inside pages are slightly smaller, and various sized circles decorated with papers and embellishments. For the cover, decoration, I used two of the 12x12 papers and then went to town with stickers and Sprinkles and shapes. These colors are so beautiful together!! I splashed on some white paint and added hearts too! You know I always add some hearts. Here is the link to the super thick cardstock - it's the best for album covers or nice thick tags and swatches! I use it a lot!

 

The "love grows here" embellishment is a cardstock sticker - so beautiful!! I added flowers, hearts, splatters...all the good things! Look at that pretty scalloped edge on those circles!

 

I used some ribbons from my stash to tie around the pink binder ring. It just adds some more color and texture.

One of the brand new things in this collection is this gorgeous key ring!!! Oh GOSH! It's lovely! I hope Doodlebug makes more of these! You can clip it onto your handbag, or tote or even on your scrapbooking bag (or scrapbook!)

WANDA...this is super cute!!!! I had to start at the top of your post a couple of times so I didn't miss anything! THE LITTLE HEARTS you add are so cute and your little Wanda signature!
