Hi sweet and lovely crafty friends! Happy Friday! And, it's a great Friday because I'm on The Greetery Blog with a project! TGIF = The Greetery Inspiration Friday! I am sharing an Easter card. It's only three weeks until Easter and I'm loving making all these pretty Easter projects. Easter is my favorite holiday for many reasons... I love the spiritual significance as a Christian, first and foremost. I love Springtime as the world awakens from Winter and the flowers bloom again. And I love Easter decorations and Easter candy!! Crafting for Easter comes easy to me and using beautiful supplies from The Greetery is basically a crafting dream!!
Today my card uses the beautiful Cathedral Die along with the Botanicuts Lily Dies and the Easter word die... I created a classic Easter vibe with a church window and gorgeous Stargazer Lilies. My finished card is an A2 card base made from my favorite woodgrain cardstock. My supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!
I started by die cutting the cathedral die from Woodgrain cardstock. I backed the cathedral die with vellum and then put bright yellow cardstock underneath to create a lit from within look! I die cut the Easter word twice from gold cardstock and glued them together for a thicker sentiment. I die cut out all the Lily pieces and leaves pieces from Bristol Cardstock. I used Bristol because the ink blends so smoothly on it and it's nice and thick for making flowers and leaves. I used the leaves from the Lily set and also the Palm dies set.
Here is a close up of the spray of lilies. I made two large lilies and one small lily flower. I die cut the pieces and then used small blender brushes to blend Distress ink from the center out. Then I used a Copic Marker to add the more vivid streaks. I splattered on some ink too. I colored the stamen pieces with Copic Markers. The leaves were colored using blender brushes and Distress Inks.
Here's a close up of the leaves and the flowers.
I love using the clear enamel dots to mimic water on fresh flowers! It's hard to see in the photos, but I splattered on some gold paint to the window - subtle, but it really looks pretty in person!
Okay, that's it for me today! Go out and have an awesome weekend my friends! XOXO

Awesome work on those lilies, Wanda!
I have not tried the Bristol cardstock before but I am going to get some after seeing your results.
I love using the woodgrain cardstock too. Love the look it gives. Wonderful inspiration. Thanks

Wanda, I just had to hop over from The Greetery and add another comment on your glorious Easter card. At first glimpse I was just speechless, anything I write doesn’t express how gorgeous your card is. Thanks to Betsy and the wonderful team at the Greetery, I’ve been happier with my cards these days. But I’ve never been proficient enough with Copics. ( so I gave my collection to my artistic grandson). I’ve decided to pick up a darker pink Copic and give your “ streaks “ a try. Your card turned out to be one of the most magnificent lily cards I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much for the awesome inspiration. And a very happy Spring to you too! God bless you. 🙏
PS We’re very blessed to have you as a designer for the best card making company, in my opinion. You’re so very talented!
