Hi friends! We made it half way through the week already! Hope your week is going well! It's hot hot hot here - in the 80's this week! And, I'm feeling Spring and Summer vibes! I'm excited for my Bible Study group tonight. It's been a great series and I'm sad there are only two weeks left! We have been reading a great book by Rebekah Lyons and then doing small group discussions. I've made some new friends, and it generally just feels good to be amongst a group of people again with no masks! I've been busy in the craft room catching up on all the new things that have hit my desk in the past couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to sharing all that with you!
Today I'm sharing a card I made with the new release from Honey Bee Stamps! I used the Market Cart Builder and the new Farm Fresh add-ons to make a happy cart full of sunflowers! I've seen some beautiful cards made with these dies, and I wanted to make it my own design. So I decided to go with all sunflowers and a crisp black and white awning! So fresh and cheerful! Supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!
My finished card is an A2 kraft card base, layered with yellow gingham and then white. I used grass and fence dies to create the background for that sweet cart. I love it! I love the sentiments too - this would be a great card to bring along with a big bouquet of sunflowers to brighten someone's day!!
To make the awning, I die cut the awning pieces twice - from black and white paper. I used my small detail scissors to trim the black pieces and then glued them onto the white piece. You can make any color stripes!! I stamped the sentiment and then die cut it out with the matching die.
I die cut out a whole bunch of pots, leaves and flowers pieces to assemble. I used Copic Markers to add some shading and then my white splatters too! I used all kinds of cardstocks....silver and gray for the wheel, woodgrain for the cart, gingham for the banner.... So many ways to customize it!
I used three pots of sunflowers on the actual cart, and then one on the ground next to it. I kind of like that it's all one type of flower...
This little sign is entirely too adorable!!
I had one little tiny sunflower left over, so I tucked it there behind the sentiment.
That's it for today!! I'll be back on Friday with an Easter card made with supplies from The Greetery! Hope to see you then! XOXO

This market cart is just the sweetest thing... I love that black/white combo. Perfect for those lovely sunflowers. I need to think about planting some of those this year. Beautiful as always, stay cool and send some of that heat my way! We're stuck back in the 40's ....
