Hello there my cute and crafty friends! Happy Monday! How are you??? I haven't been blogging that much lately, but this week there is going to be A LOT of content! I can't wait to share all of the things I've been making behind the scenes! This week's blog posts have Doodlebug (today), Pretty Pink Posh new release, and The Greetery new release! I hope you'll have fun joining me here all week as we celebrate Spring crafting and lots of color!
I went through a pretty 'dry' period creatively lately, and I have had to learn over the years to just ride it out and not force anything creatively. It never works. In the meantime I have taken three part time jobs! Gosh I've been so busy and it's been wonderful to be out of the house. I also started a new Bible Study at church on Wednesdays that has been really good for my soul. The topic is on point for me! I am so happy that my creative mojo is now flowing again and the projects I have for this week are all ones I Iike a lot. Hope you've been doing great and I hope the renewal of Spring is making you joyful! Sending you a big crafty hug from my craft room to yours!
Today I want to share a fun pop-up card made with the Doodlebug Cute & Crafty Collection! It's my day up on the Doodlebug Blog too! I just absolutely love this happy collection full of artsy, crafty things! And the rainbow colors make the collection just that much more fun. Pencils, Markers, Paints and more.... I used lots of elements from the Cute & Crafty Collection to make my super crafty pop up card! The pop up die is from Lawn Fawn (Supplies listed at the bottom of my post!) Let's Craft! This card would be perfect to send to your crafty friends!
Here's a side view so you can see all those cute art supplies inside! I added white gel pen accents to all the embellishment pieces and also added some tiny hearts and gems. I used stickers, sprinkles, and cardstock pieces!!
Here is the front flap of the pop up card!! Live. Love. Create!
I can't wait until we can all craft together in person again! Soon I think!
The right side panel has this adorable ink pad and smiling stamp!
And the left flap has some sweet scissors and washi tape!
The box was made from a set of Pop Up Box Die cuts! It's soooo easy to make. I used Doodlebug 12x12 Gingham Paper to make my box. It folds flat like this for mailing - and fits into an A2 envelope! Genius right?? I added a pretty rainbow heart to the front. I will tie it with some twine to make it more festive.
Here's the top down view. To make the box, it's two die cut pieces that adhere together. Then you die cut three inside pieces to attach your design elements to. Pencils, Markers, Paints....
Here is my matching envelope! I decorated it with stickers and hearts. Then I went back and used my white gel pen to add some dots to it. This makes me ridiculously happy!!
Okay, that's it for today!! I'll be back almost every day this week! Hope you'll join me for the fun and creativity! Have a wonderful week, everyone!
