Hi everyone! Happy Monday and Happy November! My birthday is this week! Scorpio power! Any other fellow Scorpios out there?? A LOT of my friends also have November birthdays!! And the rest of this year is going to go by in a nano second! Buckle up! I hope your Halloween was fun! Let's kick off the new week on a positive note with some cuuuuuute Christmas cards I made with the new Hello Bluebird release! The new items went live for sale on Friday night - so all the new sets are ready for crafting! CLICK HERE to shop Hello Bluebird. You guys know I LOOOOOOOOVE Hello Bluebird!! I always am smiling so big when I get to create with these adorable sets. I made three cards with three new stamp sets. LOTS of pictures today so grab a cuppa and sit down with me for a bit.
First up is a card made with the new "Sweet Christmas" stamp set. OMG the cutest little gingerbread boys and girls and their beautiful house! The finished card is an A2 white card base that I covered with pink striped paper....
Like, seriously, can you even stand it??? My process for making these three cards is this: First I stamp and die cut out ALLLL the images. Whew. Then I design my card layouts using the uncolored images. Once I have my design I choose my color scheme and my patterned paper. THEN I color! I use the color of the patterned paper to match my Copics. Once Everything is all colored, I go through and add glitter and white gel accents to everything. I set it all aside to dry. While the glitter is drying I do my background ink blending (the next two cards) and let that dry. Finally I assemble everything together into a card - the best part!!
I stamped some aqua snowflakes in the sky and added that pretty sentiment!
I used a strand of lights from a previously released HB set - I think it fits perfectly on there! I used white pen to draw on the 'frosting' on the gingerbread kids! See him peeking out the window mischievously!?
And this guy! Sitting on the window frame enjoying his lollipop!
Here's a side view so you can see all the layers....
This little guy is hanging the wreath on the front door! I love all this color!
The next card is another of my favorite things: Gnomes! I used the "Gnome for the Holidays" stamp set!! This finished card is also an A2 card base. I used the new ovals dies to cut an oval to frame my scene. I used a traditional color palette of red and green, with some pops of aqua!
I stenciled some clouds in the sky and a few snowflakes.... Another great sentiment!
Their little gnome home looks so cozy! I bet it's all decorated inside with a big fire in the fireplace!
And some snow capped mushrooms? Adorable!
And finally - a happy card made with the new "Winter Skate" stamp set! I also used the slimline skating pond die!! Such fun little critters skating away on a beautiful day in the forest! I wish I was hanging out with them!
I used a sheet of cheerful plaid as the background for this card. I edged the skating pond with Stickles Glitter Glue....and also put some on their skates. That little hedgehog makes me laugh.
I used distress inks to blend the sky and the pond....so fresh!
That's it for today! Kicking off November on a fun note! Have a fabulous week! There's some fun stuff coming - a blog hop for Pinkfresh Studio on Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by to see me! XOXO

I just saw this new release so it was great fun to see your blog and that you were using them. Is the skating die hard to put together and color? Thanks for letting me know the steps that you take for putting your cards together, I think I will follow those steps now. Great cards - so cute - and thanks for sharing your beautiful talent.

They are blessed to have you on their team! Your coloring brings all of those sweet little things to life and gives each one personality. Their images are just darling. I could pick your work out from all others. Hope you and sweet Lucky have a great week. I've just ordered the 3 Copics I didn't have, to color marshmallows :) hugs, Irissavedbygrace
