HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
Well, I didn't manage to squeeze in another Halloween project this season! But I wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Halloween anyway! So here's a project from 6 years ago that's hanging on our door! Wishing you a fun holiday full of all treats and no tricks!!

Here's a side view so you can see all the layers. I wish I would have remembered to take a photo of just the background... Sometimes I get too excited while I'm crafting and I forget to stop and take a photo!! I used a cream panel and blended yellows just in the center. Then I used accent stamps over the ink blending, and also some white snow splatters. I popped in a bit of teal with the traditional red and green.
I scattered a few pearls around the card and one silver snowflake. More is more!!
Remember how old Christmas cards had bits and bobs of chunky glitter? I tried to achieve that messy effect here. I used liquid glue and Rock Candy Distress Glitter - my favorite glitter of all time.

That's it for today's card! This time of year is so strange.... One day pumpkins, one day Christmas cards.... I guess we'll just go with it! Ha! Hi there! Where is this week going? It sure is flying by so fast! Halloween Week! I have one more project and then I'm going to have to save all the other projects for next year.... Should I start now perhaps? Lol! I hope you're having a good week! Today I'm sharing some adorable ADORABLE treat wraps made with a die from Taylored Expressions. It came in the mail last week (just in time) and I sat down right away to make these! Candy treats are so much fun to make and these are super easy too!

I used the Pumpkin Treat Wrap Die to make lollipop treats! Bright orange, happy jack-o-lanterns with a sweet surprise in the middle! I used pretty orange cardstock, distress ink blending, and cute twine. I was thinking - how could I use this shape for other things.... I think you could make them into Thanksgiving treats too - without to face! And maybe somehow make an easter treat? Maybe some bunny ears? I'll get the wheels turning on that. I used Dum Dum pops for the treats, but the Hershey Nuggets would work great too! The space inside is pretty large... Anyhoo.... On with the photos!
The die is all one solid piece to make wrap. Then there is an overlay piece and a stem piece. It comes together so easy. I was able to make four on one sheet of cardstock. You just cut and fold the wrap, add the over lay and the stem! I stamped the face using my MISTI for a nice dark impression. The die has holes already cut out in it for the twine to come through. No gluing it together!
I splattered on some white ink to make it look festive. On the stem I used a Copic marker to add shading and then white gel pen and some TE Tiny Diamonds! You could jazz it up as much or as little as you want!
I also added a button when I tied the twine together. I glued on a little halloween banner too!
I used two shades of Distress Ink and TE Blender Brushes to add depth of color to the tops of the pumpkins! I think it makes it look so good when you die cut - to add just a pop of ink for more pizazz. These oranges blended together beautifully. So warm and rich.
Here is a treat in my hand so you can see the size!
I used a piece of foam tape on the bottom to keep the lollipop from sliding around. Here's the side view so you can see how it goes together. The twine keeps it all tight.
Here's my little pumpkin patch! Aren't they adorable? SUCH a fun project!

Hi everyone! Happy Monday....just a few more days until Halloween!! Can you believe it? It seems like it took forever for it to be Fall, and now it's flying by like a witch on a broomstick! I wish I could slow this time of year! I have so many projects I want to make but it looks like once again they won't all get done! Waaaaaa! I love Halloween projects! So next year, remind me to start in August okay?! I hope you had a great weekend! We had glorious amounts of rain and the air is fresh and lovely. Time for coffee, blankets and kitten snuggles. My favorite things! Today is my day up on the Doodlebug Blog and I'm showcasing the Happy Haunting Collection once again. This time I made three cards to share with you on the DB blog and here on my blog too!

I used the same card sketch/layout for all three cards and had fun mixing and matching all the awesome patterned papers from the Happy Haunting Collection. I love that Doodlebug put in hot pink and purple with the Halloween theme this year - it makes it that much more fun. All three cards are A2 white card bases. I used a card sketch from my Card Sketches Pinterest Board!
Each card started with a white card base and then a layer of black Doodlebug Textured Cardstock. Then I used three patterned papers: two top and bottom and then one in a diagonal strip across. Easy! And I love to use lots of patterned papers so this is a great layout. I die cut three white tags using the Doodlebug tags dies and splattered on a bit of black ink...
Each card has a SUPER CUTE Doodle-Pop as the focus: The haunted house, pumpkin and ghostie! I used the accompanying smaller layered stickers to add bats and smaller ghosties!! SOOOOO FUN! At the top of each tag I used a tiny bit of twine and a big gem for even more color.
I actually want to live in this haunted house!! To me it's not scary at all! LOL. I used black mini doilies on each card to 'ground' the white tags. The sentiments are from the Chit Chat pack.
Trick or TREAT!!
I love all the fun details here - especially the eyeballs! LOLZ.
These new shaker Doodle-Pops are seriously too much cuteness.
Okay, friends! Everyone is a kid this week! Have fun and enjoy the silliness of Halloween and go buy some candy and treat yoself!! I miss working in an office on Halloween. I loooooove when everyone dresses up and laughs and just has a bit of fun. My old office used to seriously decorate the office and it was so fun. I also love driving around on Halloween seeing all the dressed up people driving!! Hahaha. Happy Halloween! XOXO

Hi crafty friends! Happy Friday! Today's post is my favorite kind of post.... I made this today, took pictures, and blogged it in real time! I love that.... When the mood strikes me to make something and I get to share it right away! So much of my crafting has specific rules and timelines etc. But today was purely my creative mood coming out! My husband is away today for work and I have the house all to myself (well Lucky is here!) and it's quiet and it's raining! I went out for a little drive to Starbucks and enjoyed driving around my neighborhood in the pouring rain and seeing all the fall leaves that have finally appeared. It's the perfect day! I got all my chores done and sat down at my desk. I'm running out of time (as always) to make Halloween things! The idea for this project has been in my head for too long. I literally went cray cray for this paper collection - Prima Thirty One. I bought it ALLLLLL. It's vintagey and cute, and fun, and retro and cool all at the same time. Oh, and there are pink pumpkin embellishments! EEEK.
I made a pretty rosette decoration and a fun card using the super vintage pieces in the collection. I popped in some creamy orange and some pink, oh and a little bit of aqua. So fun to make this!!
Here's a close up of the rosette! It's hot glued onto a paper straw for more fun decoration. It's about five inches across, including the crepe paper portion. I bought the crepe paper and the straws at Party City. The papers are all from the Thirty One collection. The ribbon is from PTI. All the supplies are listed HERE or at the bottom of the post.
The finished card is an A2 white card base. I used three of the patterned papers, some polka dot vellum and an ephemera panel to create the look. I also used some chipboard stickers and twine.... Loving this retro color palette.
Here's a close up of that most adorable pink pumpkin!!! The striped paper has a stripe that is light blue/aqua so I used ribbon in that color to add another color to the mix. The striped rosette has Gold Stickles around the edge.
It's super duper easy to make rosettes/medallions. No special tools needed! I score at 1/4 inch all the way down the strip of paper. For the larger rosette, the strips are 1.5" wide. For the smaller rosette, the strips are 1" wide. Just score and fold accordian style! That's it! I use a circle to keep my rosette shape and I use hot glue to keep it all together. This works better than liquid glue since it dries right away.

Here's a close up of my card's paper layers. I used some Nuvo Drops to add glitter in certain places on the card.

Howdy friends! Happy Fall Friday! Yippeeeeee! It finally feels like fall here in California! I put all the extra blankets on the bed this week and we've considered turning on the heater a few times.... The house is fully decorated for Halloween and the pumpkins have been purchased.... My happy season is here!! And, today I have a Fall crafty treat for you! There's a brand new release today from Jaded Blossom! ALLLLL the pretty things for Autumn crafting. I have two projects for ya! I hope you enjoy the projects, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

First up is a classically fall card....full of all the things I love to use for fall cards! Woodgrain, warm colors, cream, gold, vellum......oooooooh. This finished card is an A2 card base. I covered the front of the card with dark brown woodgrain and then a cream panel. So warm and cozy.... The stars of this card are those gorgeous leaves dies!
I started this card by making the background first. I knew I wanted to use the solid leaves as the focus of my card, but I really wanted to use the outline die too.... Hmmmm. Then it came to me! I created a tone on tone cream background by die cutting several outline dies. I glued them onto the cream panel and trimmed the edges. It's perfect! I splashed a good amount of my favorite gold paint on top of this part and let it dry. Then I inked the edges slightly with Distress Ink.
Next I die cut two of the big leaves - in red and gold. I used my new fav technique to add gold embossing to dies... and I love how this came out. Here's how I did it: I took my Versamark ink pad and randomly smushed some ink onto the leaves. I poured a generous amount of gold embossing powder over the leaves. Then I used a paint brush to haphazardly remove much of the embossing powder.... Then I heated them. Super cool and shiny!
I am already obsessed with these Fancy Leaves Dies!! (I also used them in my second project for today) There's a lot to love about them - first off, they cut like a dream. See those perfectly perfect lines??? Dreamy. And they are priced really well too. A good bargain for such large dies. Yep, gonna put these in rotation a lot.
I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder onto cream cardstock and die cut it with the matching dies. (I LOVE matching dies for sentiments, don't you?!) I wrapped a strip of vellum around that top layer. Everything is affixed with foam tape!
I tried to find these gems for you - but they have been discontinued... They were the rainbow drops from FSJ and I love them. You could easily use Nuvo Drops, Enamel Dots or even clear dots for a little accent.
Next up is a fun tag I made with the new Pumpkin Juice stamp set! I'm going to save it for a gift bag and/or a bottle of wine tag! I could also affix a coffee gift card to the back! I stamped the image using brown ink on cream cardstock. I colored everything in with Copic Markers and added white gel pen accents. Such a fun image! I die cut two circles and one of the gorgeous leaves from the Fancy Leaves set..... and it all came together quickly!
My fav go to for the tops of tags is the gingham/twine/button combo!

I know it's weird right now on the bloggy blog... One day it's Christmas, the next day it's Halloween! LOLZ. That's just how it's going right now. I love all the holidays that happen between October and December, so I don't mind. It does get a little confusion though!!
I'm up on the Doodlebug Blog today! BOO! It's Spooky Season...and of course Candy! Trick or Treat! One of my favorite crafting things to make this time of year is candy treats! It's fun to have Halloween - even as a grown up! I like to make little treats for my friends and co-workers. The new Happy Haunting Collection is so bright and colorful and playful. Pumpkins, ghosts and kitty cats! I knew I couldn't resist using the collection to decorate some treat boxes. I like to pop in lime green with orange and black for fun color contrast. Anything can be a candy container if you dream it up!!
Here is my trio of treats for today! Two candy boxes made from one of my favorite dies from Lawn Fawn - and black paper, and one clear box I bought at the craft store. They are filled with yummy pumpkin candies and made with lots of whimsy and love.
I used patterned papers from the Happy Haunting 12x12 paper pack.... And elements from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends too. I used some Sprinkles on tiny clothespins to decorate the tops and the closures. The die is a treat box assembled in two pieces. It's my go-to and you've probably seen it here many times before. (Supplies are linked at the bottom of my post).
For this one I wrapped the clear box with papers and put on that big awesome sticker from the 12x12 Sticker Sheet. Some cute purple bats to finish it off. Oh, and always some twine! That black and white twine reminds me of old fashioned candy stripes.
I die cut an oval in the front of this treat box and glued a piece of acetate to the inside to make a window - to see the treats! You could use a circle or even a star for this part!
I definitely want candy!!!!
I never thought I would say this - but that's one cute spider!
Thanks for having some playful fun with me today! Doodlebug is always fun and playful! I'll have another Doodlebug Halloween project in two weeks. Hi friends! I know it's been A LOT of Christmas here lately! Whew. Everyone is trying to get their holiday releases out early so we have time to create and craft. But, dang. It's been so busy (in the best way)!! I think we can get back to Fall crafting here soon, but first, today, I have some Christmas magic to share with you with stamps and dies from Concord & 9th! Greg, the owner, and I have become friends over the years and have shared a lot of laughs together and spaghetti wrapped in pizza (that's a whole other story).... He's the best. So when I saw the C9 Christmas release I let out an audible gasp! What??? How do they do it?? I told Greg, and he put the whole release to me in the mail. I am very blessed. VERY blessed. The C9 Christmas release this year has so much to love. I'm sharing two cards today, and I have more ideas brewing in my head... Can't wait to share these with you. They've been ready, but I was waiting for all the goodies to be back in stock!
First up - FA LA LA indeed! A pop up Christmas Village!! Adorable!! And, it folds down flat to mail it. Genius. GENIUS! I used the new Card Stacks Base Die (gonna use this a lot - couldn't be easier) to make the frame for the village. I used the Home For the Holidays Dies and the Fa la la die for the top. I combined some other previously released favorites and used the wonderful C9 color cardstocks....
Here's a side view to see all the layers and snow capped roof tops!!! Oh, and those treeeeeeessssss... And those teeny tiny lamp posts!!! Oh my.
I used some C9 snowflakes die cuts (from an old freebie set) and put them on a piece of twine for a sweet garland.
The background was made using the C9 Swirls Dies (one of my all time favorite crafting things).... I put the fa la la across the top using clear glue. Is anyone else singing the Who-ville song???
Here's the top down view.... The Card Stacks Base is a set of four dies. You die cut the main background piece and then three cross pieces. Glue them into place and then decorate! Believe me - I am challenged by construction cards - but this was so easy. I used the snow drift die to make little hills instead of straight cross pieces. I added glitter glue...
Here's the back. I die cut a second one out of aqua to put on the back to make it colorful. But you don't have to do this step.
Here it is folded flat!! You know I'm extra, so I have pieces hanging off the top. I will use an A6 envelope. If I kept it more simple, It would fit into an A2 envelope. Genius.

I had so much fun making this project!
Next up is a card I made using the beautiful O Holy Night stamps set. OH MY GOODNESS. That font! The jumbo stamp! The message! I love everything about this. My first idea that popped into my head was "chalkboard technique" for that stamp.... So I made a chalkboard card. But then, after, as I sat and looked at it, it really just looks like a snowy blizzardy night sky! Either way?! LOL. I layered some plaid paper from my stash (from Michael's I think)...
I used the trees and house dies from the same set as the top card. But I made a little country church! I made a cross from woodgrain cardstock. I think it came out perfect.
I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto black linen cardstock. After it was embossed, I splattered some white paint/snow onto it. Then I used white pigment ink and a sponge dauber to add some white ink (ie chalkboard style) to the panel.
I want my entire life to be written in this gorgeous font.

The true message of Christmas!
So.... Picture me taking all these card pictures and then yelling to my husband.... "can you come in here and help me?" So now picture him standing there holding a handful of snow while I am all set with my camera.... "Cue the snowfall!" Yeah, we are weird but we have fun at our house! Ha.

Heeeeeyyyyyyy it's me again! Day THREE of our three day release week for The Greetery! Today is the final day of product reveals and projects. So now you can get your list ready for tomorrow. I'm dying to know what your favorite thing(s) is from the release! It's really hard for me to choose a favorite this time around. I loved everything! I can't wait to make more stuff too!! It's been my pleasure to help introduce the Christmas Time Collection. I have two more projects today to show you!
NEW PRODUCTS ARE LIVE IN THE GREETERY STORE ON
My first card today features the Bake It Merry Product Suite! Stamps and Dies that are all about a baking theme! The stamps remind me of the S'mores stamps released last year - same fun look to them. Tiny cookies and oven mitts and rolling pin. EEK so cute! My card is an A2 woodgrain card base, layered with gingham (of course) and white. I kept a fresh color palette by using red, white and blue...with just one pop of green! The tiny cookies are my favorite!
Here's a close up of my layers. The sentiment is heat embossed in white onto a black banner. Red gingham plus kraft is perfection in my opinion!!
Here's a close up of those cookies!! I die cut them from cream cardstocked. Then I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink, then covered them in Rock Candy Glitter. They really do look like sugar cookies!!! I put some vellum down on my cookie sheet (parchment paper!!) and die cut a little baby spatula. LOVE.
I added two big snowflakes from the Snowflake Soiree Dies. They are ink blended with blue ink and then white paint.
Why do I suddenly want cookies???
Okay guys, this is probably the cutest thing ever.... A tiny oven!!! This collection is called Bake Someone Happy!!! A die cut oven that comes with matching stamps to decorate and embellish!! I decided to make a bright red Christmas oven!! I decorated it with white embossed accents and a little bit of holly too. The front of the oven (the door) opens, and the top opens up also. I'll show you in my photos. You can tuck in some sweet candies!
There are a million ways to decorate your oven... I adore these tiny oven mitts and spatula. Betsy thought of everything!
I put some kisses inside! I used acetate to make the oven glass. Here is the oven with the door popped open!
And here is the top - with the burners and the embossed accents. There's also a teeny cookie sheet!
Here is the top down view with both of the moving parts opened so you can see in!
I used the matching stamps to stamp my sentiment onto a tag, which I put on the back of the oven. What great little place cards these would be!!

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to Day TWO of our three day new release party for The Greetery! The new collection is called Christmas Time! Be sure to look at my post from yesterday if you haven't already! We're doing three days of previews and projects and then the new release will be available for shopping on Thursday at 10am EST! I have two more cards to share with you today! I am over the moon with excitement about all the good things in this product release. It's amazing and I had the most fun crafting with the new stamps, dies, stencils and more!!
Today's cards feature the new Curio Collection additions and the new Christmas Time product suite (genius).... Let's get started!!
My first card today showcases the new Curio Ornaments Dies (YAY for more Curio items), the Ornament Box Tops stamps and dies, and the new Curio Divider/Details Dies! My finished card is A2 size and the Ornament Box Top fills the entire card front! I made my card to look like a box of vintage 60's ornaments. Can I even tell you how much fun it was to make this???
I started by stamping my ornament box in aqua ink. I stamped the accent pieces in red ink. And then die cut out everything. Note: There are two ornament box stamp/die sets: One is vertical (I used that one) and one is horizontal. The stamp is a giant red rubber stamp and the dies cut out the banner and the smaller pieces you see in red. Again, this is genius! I like this side view because you can see all the different elements. I wracked my brain on how to make it look old... Came up with the idea of stenciling a gingham background in Antique Linen Distress Ink and also I wrinkled up a piece of vellum and glued it around the opening to look like old tissue paper!!
The Curio Ornaments die set has so many wonderful Christmas elements. In addition to ornaments there is a Holly, Wreath and a little deer.
The new Divider Die is mounted inside the opening to make it look like a box of goodies. I used a 60's color palette of pink, red, green, aqua and gold. I also used lots of glitter and some gems. The more sparkle the better!
All the tiny details are what make these ornaments so pretty!!
The background was done using the Square Dance Stencils all in one color ink. It looks old and funky!! I splattered on a bunch of white paint on the box also.
Okay, kids, hold onto your hats.... Introducing the new Christmas Time (In the City and In the Country)!!! An hourglass concept that you can fill with stamps and dies to create a little Winter Wonderland scene! OMG do you love it??? My finished card is an A2 card base out of gray cardstock. The hourglass fills up the entire front. There are several pieces you can use to mix and match and create your own specific scene. Really lovely idea!! I used the City dies and the pretty die cut snowflakes at the top of my piece.
All the dies are separate so you can mix and match your papers. I used woodgrain paper, silver paper and white paper to make my hourglass. I ink blended the background and the little lake at the bottom using aqua/blue Distress Inks.
The matching stamp set has these pretty sentiments that fit onto a gorgeous banner. Here's a close up of the die cut snowflakes background too.
I generously applied clear glitter to everything and my usual snow splatters.
I'm definitely a Christmas-in-the-city type of girl. Are you a city girl or a country girl? I stamped some snowflakes onto my card base to keep the theme going. I wanted it simple so no layers here. Just that big beautiful hourglass.

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! I am BURSTING with excitement about this week's blog posts.... Because it's release week for The Greetery! Yahooooo! There will be three days of inspiration and product reveals and projects this time! The new release is called Christmas Time! OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY are you in for a treat. Betsy has outdone herself with the new designs and it was a complete joy to create cards and projects to show you. It is my honor to help introduce all the wonderful new items! Today the design team is introducing Winterberry Bouquet, Cathedral Dies and Stencils, Pine Wisp Dies, Abundant Joy Dies, Opposites Attract Holiday and more! It's all what I would call "classic Christmas" and it's all gorgeous. So let's get started!
First up is a card I made using the new Cathedral Dies, Pine Wisp Dies, and Opposites Attract. I also used some previously released items that I love: Snowflake Soiree and With Love at Christmas. My finished card is a 5" x 5" square card base make from kraft cardstock. My layer is cream cardstock and then the feature elements...
So, I love it when word stamps have matching dies! It's so polished and clean looking. I used the joyeux noel stamps and dies for my sentiment because the cathedral window reminded me of Notre Dame - I went with a French theme! LOL. The noel is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
Here's a close up of the new Pine Wisp Dies. PERFECTION. I die cut several out of cardstock and used Distress inks to color them brown and green. Kind of a water color effect. I used a water brush.
I used the gorgeous Snowflake Soiree Stencils for this background. I only used two colors of ink - because I wanted it to be icy and blue. I also splattered on a good amount of snow (white paint)!
I die cut the Cathedral Window Die Cut from dark brown woodgrain cardstock (supplies are listed at the bottom of my post). I used an embossing dabber and dabbed embossing ink randomly onto the die cut. Then I sprinkled gold embossing powder and made it messy with my finger. Once I heated it, it gave this nice patina of old wood!! I really like how this came out. I backed the cathedral window with vellum and it was attached to the card with foam tape.
Here's a close up of the top of the card. Poinsettias, Pines, and a big gold bow. Christmas goodness.
My second card today features the new Winterberry Bouquet stamp/stencil combo and the new Abundant Joy Dies. Again....classic Christmas! OH MY WORD. The results of this stenciling are fantastic!! My finished card is an A2 red card base, layered with woodgrain paper and then a postage die cut.
The new Abundant Joy Dies have a decorated layer and a border layer. Here I used silver cardstock and vellum. There is also a Hot Foiling plate the same design. Love.
I stenciled and stamped the big bouquet image and die cut it out with the matching die. It fills up the entire front of the A2 card. I love that. I ink blended a bluish background for the die cut image to 'rest' on. I think it makes it pop off the page more.
This is soooooo pretty in person!!!!
I attached the die cut to the card with foam tape. A nice flat card to mass produce for Christmas cards I think!

Hello my sweet crafty friends! Happy October! Yay! October and November are my two favorite months of the year. So excited for the sweet spot of Autumn to be here. All the activities and holidays and fall crafting are upon us. I'm wishing you a blessed and happy Autumn weekend! We are celebrating our wedding anniversary this weekend so that's super fabulous. Lots and lots of good things going on.
I thought I would kick off October/Fall with not one, not two, but THREE cards today! I got a lovely shipment of supplies from Taylored Expressions and I couldn't wait to make some pretty things. So this is a long post with lots of good stuff. One Fall card, one Thanksgiving card, and one Halloween card. I got it all covered. LOLZ. I hope I put you in the mood for some pumpkin spice and everything nice today. XO

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.... I have fully jumped on the Stencil train, and it has left the station! My first card is made with the gorgeous new Autumn Array stencils, stamps, and dies combo. The finished card is an A kraft card base. Lots of delicious fall tones and that beautiful floral is the star of the show...
This stencil set is GORGEOUS! The green leaves are a stamp, then the rest of the image is all stenciling. I used orange, yellow and red to make a Fall bouquet. It's so easy to get good results. The stencils line up perfectly and I used my Blender Brushes to add the colors. You can see I did some shading with two colors on the petals.
The Handlettered series of stamps is fab!! I heat embossed the sentiment onto a vellum strip with gold embossing powder for a classy look.
I splashed the entire thing with gold paint... You know I love gold splatters. I may have gone overboard here!!!! It's a LOT of gold!!
Here's a close up of the AMAZING Swirls cut plate I used for the background. ACK. SO pretty!!!!!
Next up is my happy, not scary, Halloween Card. I used traditional colors of black, orange and white, accented with some purple and green. The finished card is an A2 card base. I used the new Full Circle Halloween stamp set and the great Layer It Pumpkins dies (hint - I used them in card #3 too)! I layered black, white and gingham papers for more fun.
I used the layer it pumpkins dies and the new Jack-o-Lantern cutting plate (to make the faces).... OMG these two things together are perfection!!! I used distress inks over colored cardstock to make the shading on the pumpkins. I splattered on some ink too. Aren't they adorable??!!
I stamped and colored the Full Circle Halloween image with Copic Markers. I added bits and bobs of glitter too. I layered a stitched circle over the stamped image, with foam tape. I sprinkled on some bats for fun.

My final card for today was inspired by my very own home decorations! I have tons of pumpkins around the house - all types - felt, sweater, real, fake, tweed, etc. etc. So I got the idea - wonder if I can make a paper sweater pumpkin?! I think I succeeded!! This finished card is an A2 cream card base. I created it to look like my home! Wallpaper, and a table full of pumpkins!
To create the sweater pumpkin I die cut the pumpkin from cream cardstock. Then I ran it through the cable knit embossing folder! Voila! It came out just right! I also made some pretty felt pumpkins using the best felt!!! (Supplies are at the bottom of my post)
I used a stencil to make some 'wallpaper' behind the pumpkin scene....then stamped my sentiment in brown ink. I wrapped some twine around the top layered pieces and used a bit of orange gingham to finish it!! I felt like the pumpkins needed some definition so I used Copic Markers to color directly onto the felt. It worked out just fine.
