Hey guys! Popping in real quick today to share an organizing project!! I always have these grand ideas in my head but then I often put them aside and craft instead! A week or so ago I was watching a movie in the craft room and thought - yes - today's the day I'm going to finally make my Alphabet Die tag project!! I LOOOOVE alphabet dies and they are scattered around my craft room sorted by company, so sometimes I forget what I have. This project now hangs off a hook on my desk so I can grab it and see all my options... I wanted to share it with you in case it helps you too! I'm currently in the process of re-swatching all my distress inks into a similar 'book' and I'll share that once I get that one done. I love organizing!! It makes me happy and calms my nerves.... Wishing you a blessed and happy day today! XO
Here's the finished project!
I started out by die cutting a whole bunch of tags from bright white Neenah cardstock. This is my favorite tag die, and it's actually wearing out because I've used it so often!
Next I got out my favorite AC Cardstock pack and went to town die cutting out letters and numbers for my tags....
I wrote the name of the company and the name of the alphabet set on the tag in black ink pen.
That's it! I told you this was a quickie!! I feel that an organized creative space frees up the mind and makes way for creating!! It feels good to have this project done and it makes me happy. I'll see you soon!!

Thanks for sharing this fantastic idea, Wanda! I love it. Not only will it be easier to see what alphabet dies I have but it's also a great way to know what each alphabet looks like. It's one thing looking at the die but it would be so much nicer to know what the die cut will actually look like. I will definitely be using this wonderful organizing idea!

What a great idea!๐ It really falls under the category of "Why didn't I think of that?"๐ค Although, I don't have enough alphabet or number dies to have really thought about that ๐. But when I do, I'll definitely try this method! Thanks for sharing!

Love a bit of organising Wanda. I just sorted my very messy stash of embroidery threads from old projects into colour order.

Wanda, you inspired me to organize EVERYTHING !! I'm also in the declutter mood...My local Seniors Center welcomes my craft things I know I'll not use and some never have, never will. It is a welcomed feeling to clear your mind at the craft table. Thanks !!

PERFECT! Great inspiration for organizing those alphabets. I love that you wrote words with the die cuts. I will be using a label maker to put the name and company on the back. My handwriting isn't as pretty as yours. TFS

I have been putting my newest sets into storage envelopes this week... I am always pondering how to store them? By Company, by theme??? I can't come up with a good plan. I love how you have done this with the alpha/number sets. I am going to give it a try. Besides, it looks so amazing!!!! Thanks for this. I am trying to put some order to my closet because I don't have much room for storage...

Wow wow wow! I donโt see many new GREAT ideas as I have been around for many decades doing crafty projects. Your idea of organizing your alphabet dies is phenomenal. I have 34 alpha and numeric die sets. It is always a chore when I am trying to decide which font and size I want to use. You have provided me with a perfect solution! I know what I will be doing this weekend. I love reading your newsletter and I admire the great photos you share. I appreciate the hours of work you put into each creation and publication. You are an inspiration to me and many others!
