Hey there! How was your Christmas? I hope you had a lovely weekend full of joy and Christmas spirit! I can't believe another Christmas has passed. And this week is a new year! We had a quiet Christmas at home. It was a nice rainy day and we watched about 500 Christmas movies all day!! Thank you to everyone who sent me a contribution based on my post from Christmas Eve! You all richly blessed me and I am so grateful. THANK YOU! BLESS YOU!
Last week, we didn't do Concord & 9th Feature Friday because it was Christmas Day...so we're doing Feature Friday today - on a Monday! Oh, and I'll have another project on Friday too. It's been my pleasure to guest design for Concord & 9th this month! Hope you've enjoyed the series also.
Today we are all featuring another project made with the new Weekender Bag stamps and dies. Don't you just love it? Such a great idea and concept! This time I made a cheerful, bright, monogrammed bag with some pretty feminine touches. I think this version of the Weekender Bag would be awesome for shower favors! You could put the bride's initials onto the bag, or the couples' new monogram? Or even a little baby girls' name! The size of the bag allows for candies, gift cards, or small presents. Let's check it out!
I used two of my favorite colors from the C9 color collection: Aqua Sky and Oceanside.... Yummy!! Cute little accents hanging off the side - love how you can customize this set. I wanted a pretty floral touch on my bag, so I used the Stitched Blooms die to emboss the pattern onto the front and back of the bag. It came out perfectly!!
I used the buckle this time in between the two sides of the bag. I used pretty silvery accents for my 'hardware.'
I used the Small and Large Lovely Letters alphabet stamp sets to do my monogram onto the front of the bag. I used the matching ink colors to the papers.
That's it for today's Feature Friday Monday! LOL. Have a great week! I'll see you back here on Friday, if not sooner! Take care. XOXO
