Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be a guest designer again today on the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog! Yippeeee! I'm using products from their latest release and they are so fun and cute (as always with Sunny Studio!) I made two cards to share with you. Hope you have an excellent weekend! If you popped over today from the Sunny Studio Blog - welcome to my crafting blog - happy to have you here with me! I've been craft blogging for nine years and mostly I make cards, with lots of color and layers! Happy first weekend of Summer!
My first card for today is made with the new Fast Food Fun stamp set and matching dies. This stamp set is SO cute! Tacos, burgers, fries...and a soda! With smiles you can add to them. What is cuter than that? Um, nothing! I had fun coloring this card with my Copic Markers and I also used the awesome striped papers from Sunny Studio. All supplies are listed at the bottom of my post.
EEEEEK! I love those smiling french fries!!! This would be a great card for my husband or also a Valentine Card too! I started with a white A2 card base and layered red and yellow stripes onto the card leaving a small white border. I die cut a rounded rectangle die for my top layer. Then I stamped, die cut, and colored in the burger, fries and soda. I used a white gel pen to add accents to the pieces.
I stamped little tiny hearts onto the white panel. Then I stamped the sentiment in black ink.... And then the images were attached with foam tape for dimension. I added just a few gems for sparkle and shine.
We make a GREAT combo! Love it!
Next up is a sweet cherry card I made using the Berry Bliss stamp set! This set has berrries and cherries in it that use layered stamping. No one does layered stamping better than Sunny Studio! They look so realistic! I used some of the pretty Sunny Studio gingham paper as a perfect match for those cherries. Lots of white layers too - this card is A2 size.
For my focal layer, I die cut a stitched circle and then a red scalloped circle. I stamped the cherries and the sentiment onto the die cut circle. This card has three white layers. A strip of vellum and a strip of gingham are wrapped around the top layer. I added a pretty little twine bow.
As always, a BIG GIANT thank you to Mendi for having me as a guest on the Sunny Studio Blog! Please CLICK HERE to visit the blog and leave some love! I'll be guesting again in the Fall and I can't wait. Have a perfect weekend everyone! I'll be back on Monday to help launch the new Hero Arts Card Kit! XOXO
