Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! I'm happy to share that I am a guest designer on the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog today! I met up with Mendi in January at Creativation and went a little cray cray over the new stamp sets! Especially the stamp set called Breakfast Puns! Eeep! I knew I had to stamp them! Sunny Studio stamps are so sweet and happy and FUN to color! I love their style. To see more from their awesome design team, CLICK over to their blog!! I'm glad to be sharing their products with you today. I have two cards to share with you! Both of them are a clean and simple card style with lots of color - just the way I like it. Both cards were colored with Copic Markers. That is my favorite coloring medium at the moment.... I'm coloring everything! Have a happy weekend! I'm looking forward to date night with the hubs to have dinner and listen to a live band that I love! Can't wait. I'm also going to a fun blogger event at Whole Foods this morning that includes brunch and a presentation about beauty products!!! Check my Instagram stories later!
First up today is this fun bacon and eggs card! The sentiments are so fun and perfect with the adorable stamps. I used the Breakfast Puns stamps and dies. This is an A2 white card base. I layered turquoise card stock and also some polka dot vellum for a subtle background. To make the yellow part of the background for the top layer I used Distress Inks and a sponge in two shades of yellow. Bright sunny yellow reminds me of the morning sun. I stamped and die cut out the bacon, eggs and coffee and colored them in with Copics. I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. The sentiments are heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. Everything is attached with foam tape for dimension (of course!) All my supplies are listed at the bottom of my post!
Here is a close up of the embossing and my yellow background! I love using the Copic Opaque White for splatters because it is thick and adds dimension as well as color. I also splattered some Mustard Seed ink over the top after the first layer of ink was dry.
Can I even tell you how fun it was to color these guys??? LOVE.
I layered the sentiment on the card - part at the top, part at the bottom, to balance out the design. Crisp white embossing is a winner always.

Love your cards! I just bought my first Sunny Studios set last month—Oceans of Joy—and have had a great time making fun cards.
