Hellloooooo and happy Wednesday! We made it half way through the week already. The days are flying by so fast right now - probably because it's my favorite time of the year! I want October to last forever, but it is speeding on by! The weather has been super lovely this week. Crisp, cool mornings and sunny afternoons. This weekend is the Scrapbook Expo here in Sacramento and I'm hoping to be able to find the time to pop over there for a bit. I took another crochet class this week too! It's addicting and FUN!
Today is my third day introducing some more new Papertrey Ink products from the October release! My card is featuring Year of Psalms October, and the newest Mix & Mat Snowflakes Dies. I created a chalkboard effect and I really like how it came out!
My card base is A2 and made from Kraft cardstock. I layered white paper and Chartreuse plaid paper underneath the black die cut. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it in white embossing powder. To add to the chalkboard look, I smudged some white pigment ink with my finger on top of the embossing.
For accents I used a few Christmas trees and a smattering of enamel dots. I wanted to pop some red in there.
Thank you friends! Good to see you again! CLICK HERE to shop the new Papertrey Ink release! See you soon! XOXO

Beautiful card and the Psalms stamps are a favorite. I love the chalkboard look, yet i have never tried it. Christmas and Halloween cards seem a perfect time to try it. Thank you for such awesome inspiration.

Love, love, love this card. Have enjoyed the Year of Psalms stamps. Love the smudged effect to appear more like chalk. Awesome.
