Wanda, your Baker Lady in her gingham apron is so sweet, and love the sentiment. Only you would think to add clouds at the bottom for added dimension. Very cool that you're guesting at Ellen's!

Oh my goodness, Wanda! You say this card is for your friend? Well, I've decided we need to become friends - pronto! - so that I can receive birthday cards from you too! 😂
Because seriously, THIS CARD! Gah! SO good!
The paper piecing! (I mean, YES! Baking lady was just *begging* for a red gingham apron!)
The copic colouring! (I want to eat that cake, and I can't even HAVE cake! (too many food intolerances)).
The stamp set mixing! (I can't stop looking at that lemon slice perched on top of the cake. Why does it look so perfect up there?! So fancy, yet not fussy.)
The colour pairing! (Teal and red? TEAL AND RED?! Why has this combination never occurred to me before?! I LOVE these colours together!)
Even the matting! (I don't use kraft coloured bases often enough. But the way you've paired this one with the red and white layers? The effect is stunning!)
So glad to have 'found' you through Ellen H - I'm definitely subscribing to see more of your work!
❤️❤️❤️

First of all the stamped image is just plain cute. I love her smile! I am not too into cooking but I still think this is a versatile stamp that can be used for other occasions. The scalloped background is just what I am looking for also.
