Greetings and bushels of love on this pretty Autumn day! We're now officially in the final week of STAMPtember, but there is still a lot of good stuff to share! (as a side note, Weekender with Wanda will start up again this Saturday on the SSS blog - yay!) Here in Sactown there are leaves falling from the trees, and blowing down the street. Some of the trees in our neighborhood are just slightly turning color! I am endlessly renewed by the changing of the seasons, when mother nature puts on a show for us. Julie Ebersole was in town teaching at my friend's stamp store this weekend and a bunch of us went out with her for a really fun and crazy girls dinner tonight. It's always good to see our stamping friends from far away. And, that gives us local gals an excuse to all hang out. Yay for stamping friends!! Hope your weekend was fantastic too!

Today's stamp set release is one of my favorites from the entire month! I made this card at least two weeks ago! The images called to me right away. Today.... Introducing the limited edition stamp and die set from Newton's Nook - called Bushels of Love! An adorable fox! Mushrooms! A little birdie! What's not to love? Again, I used some new paper pads and my Copic Markers to create my card. Because the base of the leaf paper is cream, and not stark white, I stamped and colored my images on cream paper to match. This makes the Copic colors a bit muted - a nice look for these images.
There are matching dies for all the images, so it's easy to create a layered scene. Here you can see I used a white gel pen to add tiny accents of white on the fox, bird and pumpkins.
In this photo you can see how I staggered and layered the large stitched circle and the images. This is a really easy way to make your card 'pop' a bit, instead of attaching things flat onto the card base. My folded card base is kraft paper.
I'm sending YOU, my friends, BUSHELS of Fall love today! Thanks for stopping by here as part of your busy day. Leave me a comment and let me know what's going on with you!! What are you working on? What is your favorite thing so far from STAMPtember?? I'll be back tomorrow! XOXO

That background paper is so sweet. Perfect choice for your wonderful fall card. I haven't made a card for about a month. We had some trees removed from our backyard and we have been cleaning up and splitting wood. I hope to start on my Halloween cards this week. Fingers crossed!!!!!!

Hey Wanda. Your card is fantastic, so appropriate for fall. The leaves are starting to change here too (in N.S.)
My father is in hospital (terminal) so, needless to say I have not been doing much in the craft room lately.
I can't pick just one thing from STAMPtember's release as I love it all! I don't have much in the way of current products so even the basics are fantastic to me!
Have a great week!
