I shared two new release projects in my blog post yesterday and I have two more to share today. Really, I just could not stop making cards! I hope you love it all as much as I do. Today is all about Summer fun! Popsicles, flamingos, and pineapples! Oh, and a cute bear in swim trunks!
My first card was made using the adorable bear from the Summertime Animals stamp set! I found some patterned paper in my stash that was perfect for these images! I colored my bear and popsicle using Copic markers to match my patterned paper. The new Stitched Banners dies are perfect for the sentiment! And I love that there is a hashtag in the stamp set! #hellosummer
For my second card is used the AWESOME Flamingos background stamp! EEP! LOVE it! Then I had fun coloring flamingos and a pineapple with my Copic Markers. And for good measure, I used some Tropical Leaves stamps too! This card is a tropical extravaganza! LOL.
The sentiment is actually stacked, but I wanted it to be horizontal. So I masked off the first word with some washi tape and stamped it. Then I cleaned my stamp and did the same with the second word! Then I added the hashtag. The sun was stamped in yellow ink and then I added some darker yellow with a Copic Marker for shading.
I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the popsicle to make it look shiny and cold. Everything is attached to the card with foam squares. I added a few accent hearts to match the pattern in the paper and to tie the whole project together.
This flamingo card has everything that I love about Summer! Pretty colors, pineapples (I'm a bit obsessed right now), leaves and glitter! I started by stamping the new Flamingo background stamp in a soft pink ink for my base layer. Then I stamped and die cut out all my images. The really fun part was coloring everything!

Cute cards. Love those flamingo stamps! That background stamp was the first thing that caught my eye in the new release along with the stacked stars.

Wow, summers are here and your cards show it in a fun and adorable way!!! I love both colourful creations. Eating ice-creams, esp popsicles and having pineapple are two of those things which I do most frequently in summers!!!
