HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!
MANY BLESSINGS FOR AN AMAZING YEAR AHEAD!
Thank you very much for coming by my blog today to celebrate "Season's Givings" with a giant blog hop and awesome prize giveaways! This is my second year doing this great hop! BIG GIANT thanks to Latisha for organizing this. I hope you are having fun looking at everyone's blogs! What a great way to start off the new year right? The entire link list is further down in my post. And every blog has a prize! There are all kinds of beautiful projects to look at!
This blog hop is all about us thanking YOU, our awesome followers and readers, for supporting us and sharing our joy of crafting. For lots of us, the main reason we blog, is that we develop wonderful friendships with a greater creative community and we uplift and inspire each other. Truly, thank you for joining me on my blog journey. If you are new to my site - welcome! I hope you find something(s) you like and I'm happy to have you here today. CLICK HERE to see my end of the year 2015 wrap up post.
You heard me correctly - every stop on the hop has PRIZES! It's our way of saying thanks! I have a great prize package of Simon Says Stamp goodies to give away to one lucky winner (see photo below)! In order to be eligible to win, please leave a comment on this post and tell me your New Year's resolution for crafting and creativity! I will draw the winner on Tuesday January 5th and notify you via email. What projects are you going to work on in 2016? Maybe a new technique? New style?
I thought since we are all getting together today, and it's New Year's Day....I would post a fun, funky, bright New Year card! I had so much fun making these shaker cards. Loads of cool confetti and stars inside. I used my Fuse Tool and some fav dies. The Joy die is from Simon Says Stamp and the numbers dies are from Papertrey Ink. The stamp is Impression Obsession. I used bright bold colors! This was my first project using my fuse tool, also. I think I might be hooked.
My finished cards inside the pockets are five and a quarter inch square. The plastic covering is the Avery Elle stamp storage pockets. They are really nice and thick plastic. I cut the numbers out of silver glitter paper. More bling is better, right?
I put the card inside the plastic sleeves and fused the bottom edge. Then I dumped in a whole lot of confetti! And sequins! The tiny confetti is from Martha Stewart and the sequins are just a mix of what I have in my stash. After I put the confetti inside, I fused the top edge and trimmed it. There you have it! Fun without the mess!
Be sure to hook up with me on social media - all the links are in my left sidebar! And, I would love to have you as an email subscriber too - just put your email in the box under my photo. Oh, and I have to warn you, I am pretty addicted to Instagram! I would be happy to share with you there! Thank you for coming by today. Enjoy the hop!
Congratulations Brenda on your win! (And Thanks Wanda for steering me to it! LOL)

love your work - always so inspiring!! my crafty goal is to 'find myself' again in this evolved world of paper crafting... I'm no longer designing for 'show' (publication), I'm not much of a stamper so I don't really fit in with mainstream challenges and the current card making trend, so I have felt lost and need to find a style that I enjoy! happy new year to you!!

You are one of my favorite bloggers. I adore your style of cardmaking and you have provided so much inspiration to all of your followers. Thank you for an awesome 2015. I look forward to more amazing posts from you in 2016. I love, love, love your shaker New Years card...so festive! One of my crafty resolutions this year is to dedicate more time to crafting...less procrastination (life is too short!). Wishing you and your family a wonderful 2016.

HAPPY New Year :)
LOVE your shakers - the sparkle and design is SO MUCH FUN and the size is great too ... I prefer larger cards!!!
THANK YOU for being part of this amazing blog hop and for being so generous, giving us the chance to win some crafty awesomeness too!!!
OOPS - I nearly forgot to share my New Year resolution - it's to get my cards made BEFORE I need to mail or give them for birthdays or special occastions. My list is ready & waiting => if I'm better prepared for them it will allow me to spend more time trying new techniques and to send cards throughout the year for no reason at all, "just because" I'm thinking of them :)
