Seriously! It's Monday already? Did you have a nice Summer weekend with the longest day of the year? What did you do this weekend? We laid low and had a calm weekend. Lots of chores and I even took a nap on Saturday (I never do that!) Mr. Buddy got a nice bath and now he's all pretty and ready for Summer too. (yes my cat loves to have a bath!!) I'm trying to rest and enjoy and sloooooooow down. I made a couple of cards. One for today, and one for the PTI Customer Blog Hop on Thursday. Did you get crafty this weekend?
Today's card features the awesome new July Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp! As soon as I saw it I wanted it. Because....it's nautical themed!! Yeah! I love anything nautical, and the stamp set is just too adorable. I ordered it and it arrived on Saturday. Woot woot!
The card kit comes with a package of travel themed Tim Holtz metal pieces. I tied the compass onto the red ribbon with a bit of twine. The patterned papers are gorgeousssssss!

Oh, I LOVE nautical! This is SOOOO gorgeous, my friend! You absolutely rocked those adorable Authentique papers! And fabulous stamping! I love the little scene. The round sentiment die cut makes me think of a port hole. :D Loving that you added that Tim charm, too!

I thought that was the SSS July kit as soon as I saw your card. And what a wonderful card it is too. So nautical and summery! (like beach summery, not oh my god it is 107 again today summery)

Beautiful card and fun papers. I love that little die. We were sitting on the sand at Half Moon Bay on Saturday, enjoying the sun. Much too hot at home.
