This card is beautiful. I love that big pink flower as a point of interest. The doily underneath, the embossed edging, and the sentiment placement are perfect. The paper you used is elegant and goes well with the flower. Love it!!

Lovin' the shabby chicness! 
Have a safe trip. I'm off to Ohio on Monday for work. We will be on the same time zone.

This card makes ME smile, Wanda!! So very pretty -- love that big pink bloom and the doilie peeking out! Thanks for sharing your work with us in the Tea Room :)

LOVE your card today, Wanda! Have a wonderful time in DC and VA - I envy you! If you have time, be sure to visit the Library of Congress.....just a beautiful building with lots of inspiration - look up at the ceilings!

Sooo love this did such a fabulous job with simple shabby chic! It can be such a challenge considering the nature of shabby chic! I love the use of white ink to lighten it up and that doily is supah cute! You will have a fun time in your birthplace and I can't wait to see your always wonderful pics! Have a safe trip! ;o)
