Today's card is a sweet litle birdie birthday card! This stamp is part of an OLD Stampin' Up set. I can't even remember how long I've had it. Isn't it adorable? I've been in dire need of a big stack of birthday cards, so that's what I've been working on.
I finally figured out to pick out my patterned background paper BEFORE coloring in my images...hahaha. That way everything matches nicely. I'm always coloring in stuff and then rummaging through all my paper trying to find a match! This way is much easier.
I like how the soft blues and greens went with the kraft paper background. I thought it had a country feel to it so I added a button and a nice big bow.
I love this card.... yeah, I guess you are right, choose the dsp 1st, then onto coloring! : )

Hi Wanda
Love the birdies too.
So you also have to make a big stack of cards?
I am busy with the second stack for my sister(a birthday gift as well...20) still for my friend one of 20 cards to go and matching felt bag.
I tend to do the same as you first color and then look for matching paper!
Haven't you received my card yet?
Have a wonderfull day and weekend.
Groetjes Holly.
